[IPL] FC18: Polt vs SjoW

The time has come for our eighteenth IGN Pro League Fight Club! This is a weekly king of the hill showmatch series. Basically, there will be a 1 vs. 1 best of 9 showmatch each and every week, where the winner will earn a $500 prize and a $100 bounty on their head. For example, if a player wins three weeks in a row they will have earned $1,500 and a $300 bounty. If a NEW challenger defeats him, they will earn $500 for the showmatch, take the $300 bounty home, and have a new $100 bounty placed on their head for each week that they win. (Similar to IPL Team Arena, but without the teams!)

Last week, Polt was unable to play and defend his throne, so we had an interim match with Socke and SjoW. SjoW came from a 4 game deficit to come back and win 5-4, so this week our two champions will battle it out to see who truly deserves this top spot!

I expect Polt to win, but wouldnt be surprised in any way if sjow pulls it off

I expect Polt to win 5-2. Last time they met, Polt won 2-0, so the consistency is somewhat in Polt's favor, and the skill gap is fairly wide. Too bad we couldn't get DRG vs Polt though.

are they still going to do polt vs drg regardless of the result... or is it going to be the winner of this FC to fight drg

Originally it was going to be the winner of Socke and SjoW to play the winner of Polt and DongRaeGu, but DongRaeGu didn't want to play cross server (which he might have to if he won and then faced a foreigner) so he forfeited.

Anyhow, I think Polt will win this but I think SjoW will give a few surprises. I am predicting SjoW takes at least one game.
