I thought catz was peruvian, any explanation why he isnt there?
|
According to the Liquipedia page (MasGamers Tech Festival) and the bracket for the qualifiers (brackets), Odin was eliminated early on (reportedly by a walkover). What happened?

The brazilian qualifiers just allow players that are currently living in Brazil. Maybe that`s because CatZ isnt there.

Yes justnoob.br CatZ isn't in Peru and is a presential tournament, sadly.
Odin was eliminated because of a W.O. but the guy who passed wasn't coming so he went back in to replace him. He is one of the best in the scene.

wikipedia updated!
good matches here, i rly recommendu this finals games!
|
is fenix still without a team?
|
Either Fenix is just very out of shape or Peruvians have gotten better... surprised he didn't manage to even make the finals
|
Umm Fenix won the Upper Beracket if you look at the bracket link ;-)

well in the online qualys were 32 players and 16 went to the live event, in other words one just needed to win the 1st game to play in the finals (16 players) so the remaing matches could be played in a more relaxed way.
Now Fenix its in the finals and have his ticket to go to brazil for the south americans Finals.

Ohhh I see. So the rest of the tournament played out just for fun basically ?
|
i think you could have a good seed in the finals but with Fenix there... he is better than anyone else here (PRO player, maybe the only one with dKiller)... so for Fenix get a better or worse seed is not a big deal IMO
edit: i reported that he online qualys were really bad, now in the "offline" the comments are great, some players says that this was the best tourney so far.. so im glad that all is going right
