One issue that I'm going to have coming up is that I'm going out for St. Patrick's day in a couple minutes and I'll like to drop my votes asap.. I hope I'm home before the deadline, but I plan on checking the thread on my phone every so often.. and will vote through there if necessary.... Jay, if you were interested- I'd vote for you.. I've liked all your reasoning so far.. a lot of the other candidates haven't put forth much in terms of their post.. maybe get a couple other people to share their thoughts on why they want/would be a good candidate and go from there? | ||

This is what I voted: ##Vote: Drazerk ##Elect: Velinath Here is my reasons: Drazerk- I don't think he is being entirely truthful, and I don't think a town would just kill someone the first night randomly. Electing Velinath is complete bandwagoning. You say the right things, seem active... and realistically we don't seem to have many other options... there isn't alot to go off of for this election at least right now.. open to change though! | ||

I want to get off that 'lurker' list asap... Specific Thoughts: I'd first like to look at bit more at this Foolishness/Dirk thing that has kind of been brewing. I know there has been some back and forth on this, but one thing that really stuck out to me, was why did Foolishness target Dirk out of all the lurkers? (myself included). There have been plenty of fluff posts, yet he stuck to him... I also think that his post restriction is probably madeup, but that really shouldn't be something we dwell on, since it really doesn't matter if it is, or isnt.... The death of Drazerk gave us a lot more information than I think we are considering... it appears that there are a lot of roles that exist in this game and different factions. We know there are some Sleeper Cell Agents that exist.. and we know there are 3 "Beings of Great Power" that remain... I have a strong feeling that those 3 beings really want that Destablization Engine, and Ganzow may of painted a target on his back with that latest post... I'd be curious as to what other purpose this item provides. General Thoughts: Black Market: I'm still kind of confused as to what the items in the black market are for, and what you mean by 'services' that are available there? Also, @Vel- How are you going to decide who gets what items? How are we going to start looking for Scum? We've been REALLY hung up on 3rd party/items/roles etc. and really haven't focused in on our TRUE objective? As for my personal scum reads: I sadly have pretty much none besides the lurker list, and that isn't very convincing at all for me.. I'm worried that a lot of third party people are trying to get their objectives met (Kenpachi) and don't care about town objectives at all... Anyways, now that I'm completely up to date (and at work), I can start posting again more frequently!! :D | ||

Why are you being so abrasive with everyone? If you are 'town' wouldn't you want to try to get people on your side instead of just acting like a small child? Right now I'm thinking Kenpachi and Blazing are 3rd party at best.. scum at worst.. | ||

If I remember correcetly... The discussion was of Wheatly becoming 'evil'.. I didn't want to be responsible for that, and I didn't want to be Wheatley -_-... Forget about the ninja-vote, but he lurks hardcore after jumping on the two bandwagons with VERY vague and random reasons. The funny thing is that Draz' first-night shot was universally seen as being town-favored. It was all the shit he pulled afterwards that made him scummy/a risk to town, and that's the only point he has for voting to lynch him... This was St. Patrick's day Weekend... If Dirk is scum, this seems like a pretty weak attempt at protecting him. Yes, there have been a lot of fluff posts, but theres no reason for Foolishness not to pressure someone that seemed scummy and had only one post that was pure fluff and achieved nothing at the time. I don't think Foolishness actually expected a wagon to form around Dirk, but it was good pressure, and it did end up getting Dirk to eventually post/contribute more. I don't buy that any sane person could think that Foolishness had no reason for targeting Dirk... I'm actually NOT trying to protect him... I really think that there is something significant about why Foolishness targetted him. I felt like that point was glossed over, and that it deserved being revisited. I see Dirk posting a lot more now, and that is encouraging?? I don't think this HAS been said. In fact, I think we have some of the more 'active' people simply being 3rd party people!! Thats why we have such an interest in items, since their wincon seems to be based around it. Especially with the Destablization engine being revealed, I think this is important to keep on the forefront of our minds. If you remember, one of the conditions was that if this engine reached level 5, all the mafia died?! That seems pretty insane and powerful... How are we going to start looking for Scum? On Saturday- I was convinced that the day/night role over was going to occur, so I wanted to get my votes in so I wouldn't get modkilled.. I was clearly mistaken, but just stuck with it anyways.... I know its easy to say I'm lieing, so I guess its up to you if you believe that or not... but thats what happened... | ||
