I've read that there is no use to have an fps over 60 because the eye doesn't detect it. I get values of 240 fps on Medium settings on sc2 and somewhere around 150 fps on High. Is there any way to cap this fps at a certain amount? My specs: I5 2400 HD6870 8gb ram | ||

Anyways, as said above, you can just turn on vsync. | ||

Add this line to the end frameratecap=120 I find if you add a cap of 60 to 60 hz monitors motions arent very fluid. At 120hz they are perfectly fluid. Anywhere in between decreases the stutter in the way you might imagine (framerate cap is not the same as Vsync, otherwise we would cap out at 60) I would not advise Vsync since SC2 is very competitive. | ||

And triple buffering can be used to eliminate it almost entirely so anything above the refresh rate of the monitor is unnoticeable. | ||
