Q: It was tough getting into the top 8. What are your thoughts?
A: I thought we would make it into the top 8 easily. Never expected it to be such a tough battle. Looks like there are many areas that we need to improve on.

Q: Your team started off well, but ZeNEXtreme got a triple kill.
A: He found his confidence and momentum playing against Terran and we couldn't stop it.

Q: If you had lost, the team would have lost too. Was it very stressful for you then?
A: It was stressful, but it was also because we were in such a desperate situation that inspired me to play to the best of my abilities. When I got seated within the booth, I actually became more comfortable and relaxed.

Q: Was your strategy on Crossfire prepared before the match, or did you come up with it on the spot?
A: It is a common scenario for me on the ladder, and was the result of my accumulated hard work and experience.

Q: In the final game, even though you had scouted your opponent's hidden expansion, you weren't really able to destroy it, and that led to a difficult game.
A: It was my first time seeing such a strategy. and it was such a unique and unusual strategy, which made me panic. Even so, I gathered my focus and remained calm, and was able to win eventually.

Q: Your first opponent in the round of 8 is SlayerS. How do you think the match will progress?
A: I'm feeling pretty good about SlayerS recently, because I recently defeated Ganzi hyung and MMA hyung. Furthermore, their strength is mainly in their Terrans, and our team's Protosses and Terrans are all really good against Terrans. We are confident of beating them.

Q: Who do you most want to play against from SlayerS?
A: That'd definitely be MMA. I saw him getting MVP in GSTL yesterday as well, and it seems like he's always the main character of GSTL. I've defeated him before, and so I hope to be able to defeat him again in GSTL, and steal his role as main character for once. (T/N: Take translation with a pinch of salt. Not 100% sure.)

Q: After MC left the team, many people were worried that the strength of the team would drop a lot.
A: To be honest, when MC just left the team, we were indeed very worried. However, the other players in the team are very strong too, and so if we work hard, we are confident of filling the void he left.

Also, ever since MC left the team, I have a strong sense of responsibility of being the team ace. I managed to pull through today, and I believe I can also do it again in the future.

Q: Who do you think your greatest competitors are this season?
A: I think SlayerS, IM, and MVP are the strong teams. However, I feel that our team has sufficient strength to face off against them and win the tournament.

All this while, we haven't done well in GSTL. This season, we will work hard and try our best to be the ones lifting up the champion's trophy for everyone to see.

Q: Out of the three strong teams that you listed, two of them are in the same group as you in the round of 8.
A: Yeah I know. We seem to always be grouped with MVP and SlayerS. But anyway, they are opponents that we would meet sooner or later, so it doesn't really matter when we meet.



Q: Any last things to add?
A: We got a double kill at the beginning of today's match, and seemed to be winning. All thanks to that double kill by Vines hyung, we were able to achieve victory in the end. I hope the players who lost today would pick themselves up. There are plenty of chances in the future, and I hope we will work hard together to get good results.
