For those that do not know Illusion, he is a Korean Terran player born in America, who has lived in America for all of his life. He is playing very high caliber games at the age of 15! He is obviously at the top of North America, beating players who are dedicated full time to this job. He respects others, looks forward to making Starcraft 2 a profession and his dedication should not be undermined. He streams hours for days, sometimes 16 hours in one day, showing his rigorous practice and motivation. True Dedication.
Although he is young and very talented, vileIllusion is not a very well known figure in the community even though he is a fantastic player, as well as a great streamer! He had a fantastic run @ MLG (placing 24th running through players such as Sheth, Spanishiwa, Attero, Kawaiirice) - all of which are featured. He was playing so well that people were wondering if he was

He plays in many online cups and streams them. In addition to playing in the MLG Raleigh, Orlando and Providence, he also has participated in KOTHs and Showmatches. Recently, he played a showmatch vs featured streamer Desrow

He has a unique style of play, where he utilizes his multitasking by doing multiple drops at the same time and splitting his units crazily (Watching him warm up in Marine split Challenge is crazy, level 25!). Here are a few games that have won me over, http://drop.sc/67229 (MLG, Illusion vs Sheth) http://drop.sc/67227 (MLG Illusion vs TLO) Which should definitely be casted!
(Illusion vs Russano in Thundertoss KOTH, Watch from 11:18 for multitask capacity).

These games showcase his harassment techniques, incredible macro, as well as his micro.
His level of play is obviously high enough to meet the requirements of "High Skill" for a featured stream.
- High skill
- Stream viewers
- Contribution to TL
- Entertainment/stream involvement etc
On a regular day, he will get ~100+ stream viewers. If he is on the front page, his viewer count increases tremendously (can only imagine how much more popular he would be if he was featured, always on the main page!) Many people don’t bother to check out the streamers in the unfeatured section of TL, and because of that, his viewer count will not see its full potential.
He contributes to TL in indirect ways. He lurks around in the Strategy section, posting replays of strategies as well as giving critiques to curious posters. In addition to this, he posts replays of his games on the stream! He also does replay analysis while streaming and commentates his process in the middle of a ladder match. Illusion definitely cares for his viewers, as anyone who visits would see that he is always interactive, whether there are 30 viewers or 500 (When dreamhack ended, his channel blew up!). Of course helping the stream viewers isn't exacting contributing to TL, but many of the viewers are from TL and they are of course benefiting from his stream.
He streams his Tournaments, Practice games, Ladder and anything to fill up time. He is always doing something ( even if he goes to eat dinner, he puts on a replay temporarily and his stream chat is usually interactive enough to let everyone else know ). He plays on the NA, EU and KR server and is GM on NA/EU, Masters on KR (but he says the delay is too impactful on his play).
As well as being a great player, he is very mannered and I am not sure why much of TL has not heard of him yet. Oh wait, he hasn't had much coverage. He wasn't mentioned in http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=289749, a huge article that was read thousands of times. The author did apologize, but this was a big missed opportunity for him that he might not be able to get in a very long time.
He was covered on MLG but this was during the middle of the tournament and MLG's news Feed quickly filled up and his interview got buried very quickly. http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/news/vile-illusion-an-american-prodigy-eliminates-spanishiwa-and-sheth. It wasn't even a video, no face to the name. Him beating Spanishiwa was emphasized in this interview, but many forget that he beat Spanishiwa 2-1 at MLG Raleigh Round 1 of the Open Bracket. He isn't covered much on Starcraft 2 channels either but the ones that are, he plays fantastic!
Overall, he is a great person, young and very motivated with a creative and unique playstyle that deserves a lot more credit.

TLDR: Kid deserves much more than he is getting, and it's a shame he's been ignored for so long after streaming on TL for more than a year. Fantastic player, personality, and kickass stream!
P.S: Hopefully other Pro-gamers who have played Illusion can speak up for him.
