Hey, it's me again, I made the thread "1st comp build". I've pretty much got my build laid out, thanks to the "optimized computer build" thread and advice from several people. Thanks to all those that helped!

Now, I've got my build. My budget is basically $550, and that's the absolute cap since It's a bit stretched.. Also, I already have an OS for my computer, so no need to worry about it.

Now, for questions.

1. Newegg ran out of Antec Neo Eco 520W, so I picked the 400W. Is it going to be enough to power a computer like this? I'll have 2 identical monitors with resolutions of 1280x1024, 1 keyboard, 1 mouse.

2. Is there any notably better deals I'm missing? Would it be better to wait for Cyber Monday to buy some of these parts (ex: the hard drive + optical drive is a pretty hot deal so I figured I should buy it right now) or should I buy now?

[b]The rest of the parts I'm buying early-ish december, since I'm only 14 years old, and my parents are giving me $300 for christmas.[/b]

3. Are there any good, cheap keyboards for less than $40? I'm looking for a quiet keyboard with good typing, durable, maybe some media controls. Wired would be good if it has a long cable, if not, then wireless.

Yes 400w is enough. The configuration will only pull at around 100w at max load. Monitors draw power from the wall, not the power supply.

You'll probably be able to get some similar power supply for $30-$40 if you decide to wait.

The 2500k is the same price as the core i5 2400: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=57962&promoid=1190 If you're going to pay $190, you might as well pay for the 2500k (which is 300MHz faster than the 2400) even if you won't be overclocking. If you want to spend less, you can get the core i5 2320 which is 100MHz slower than the 2400 for $175: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=63959&promoid=1190
