So, its been a couple of hours since the day started, and already two votes on Team Liquid, due to "Crofty is silent" and Crofty is an unknown factor. Which, frankly, is fair enough. Since I am a newcomer to these forums, and since you haven't had the pleasure of playing mafia with me before, I am a decent enough safe first vote. This also would provoke me to respond by posting, and hopefully giving you some data to work with. Had the tables been turned, I would likely do the same thing, so I'll let this slide for now. What would you like to know? | ||

In the hour and a half it took me to get back from work, the thread went from deadly quiet to red bull in a kindergarten. So, redFF and kitaman have claimed Parity Cop (not sure how you shade blue on these forums), which I am inclined to believe, for now, as if they are lying we will find out sure enough. Not what I would think would be the smartest move though... We do need a lynch. Not lynching gives us no data, and just allows the mafia to get ahead. Putting suggestions forth is good, though I am cautious of creating an easy bandwagon which the mafia can jump on. I, myself am inclined to go for either Team Edward, as I feel they haven't really done much which sets them into the "likely town" bracket for me; or Team Viking for similar reasons (though, worrying they have a couple of votes already). These are just my musings for now, that hopefully can be put to a decisive lynch, but I haven't really confered with my teambro, as I think he is at work now. Regardless, I will ensure we do vote. Also please excuse my lack of, lets say, "quote posting" so far, to back up my thoughts. Still struggling to remember which dude is in which team, consistently. Been many a moment in the last 24hours, when I have been trudging though the massive torrent of posts, and been like "OMG, name35 said this, and sillynamebob said this! they must be a mafia team!" and been like halfway though a long accusatory post, before I realized they aren't actually in the same team  . Its the weekend now, so I will get up to speed.So, Viking or Edward? | ||

It means I am trying to contribute to the thread, without just leaving it up to GM. It means I give a shit, and if i can, I will avoid giving the mafia an easy shot at lynching a green, by not just jumping on the nearest bandwagon. As for "Who shall I vote?" etc, you should focus more on deciding who you are going to vote for, rather than making asinine comments about my posts. Trust me when I say I am not fishing for a vote target, more seeing if there is a general consensus towards certain teams, as scummie. I want data. Tomorrow I can use it. Right now, we are floundering about, and need to get a lynch, good or bad (obviously preferbably good) so we have some data, to make good choices tomorrow. Settle down shortstuff. Regarding Team Edward. hyshes has said some stuff about team set ups, asked a few questions, and generally implied people who have accused his team, of being suspicious; which isn't perticualy pro -town play, and a little to defensive. He seems a little new, but then so am I. chaoser started by voting for Team Liquid straight off the bat, which frankly I like, as its kinda exactly what I would do at the start, randomly picking a team (preferably with an unknown) and poking them until posts appear which then he can work with. However since then, all his posts are wordy "that line of though is stupid/your logic is shit" type posts, which have generally derailed peoples theories and lines of though, but (and this is important) without suggesting anything in its place. . Having read his responses to others theories/ideas, you end up back at square one. This is unhelpful, and i feel that if he was town, he would be putting ideas forth, rather than killing them all dead. He attacked my last post as being "useless", once again derailing any sort of forward motion on getting a pro town lynch. Even if he felt I was out of my mind retarded with that post, he should have said what he said, and then followed it up with something constructive towards the town winning. No, he just seems to be stopping things, and that is scum play. | ||
