I can't seem to see anyplace on TL where there's a list of rules or guidelines to what you can post in a blog, and due to the prevalence of blogs about such random oddities as dating, papercrafting, other arts and crafts, sc2, scbw, other games, sports, tv, movies, etc etc etc, I thought the blog was pretty much a fair-game random post area.
However, I just had a blog post yanked by admins for 'circumventing strategy forum guidelines'...though I didn't think the blog was within the purview of the strategy forum. I thought it was it's own section. Lo and behold the mighty reach of the strategy forum.
...Also I assume this was citing the SC2 strategy forum, which this blog is still not posted under, due to the fact that my content is all SC2 related.
If someone decides to close this post as well, though I can't see any reason to, since it's not breaking any rules because there is no rules section for the blog forum, can I at least get a bit more direction on where to look for guidelines on how to exposit in one's blog to avoid future action against mine?

Havent read your other blog but most things in this section are fair game so long as there is actually some content. Circumventing strategy forum guidelines tells me that you kinda made a post that would probably be more appropriate in the strat section - but not up to snuff. Some blogs that dont make it are short ones that just ask questions. Hm... let me look at your other blog real fast!
Ah yes, you post 3 reps, and just ask ppl to comment. That is something that belongs in the strat forum but requires more content. Blogs are not really a, hey look at me and answer my desire type thing. You were looking for feedback - i generally avoid the strat forum but i think that is fine so long as you give some self-analysis and just get more content in there with more specific inquires. Generally anything with, look at this - now tell me whats up doesn't really fly. Hope this helped a little. I have a hard time explaining things sometimes >.<
But to note - when i first started posting in blogs i did look for a general rules thread =o i just kinda read a bunch of blogs and got the general feel of what it is about

A post like this would actually belong in website feedback.
Now, as to your original post - you should contact the admin that closed it directly if you're not sure why. In this case, it appears you made a post that, for all intents and purposes, should be in the Strategy forum, but you posted it in blogs to get around the stricter rules of the strategy forum (as Blogs are much more lax).
Why this is a bad thing, though, is because if everyone did the same thing, Blogs would become a quasi-SC2 strategy forum, and would end up just getting moderated as such.
