With about one month to DreamHack Winter 2011 it's time to present the second wave of selected players to DreamHack SAPPHIRE AMD Championship. During this week two of four online qualifiers have been played and we have four qualified players to the StarCraft II main tournament

DreamHack Winter 2011 is the final event of the DreamHack SAPPHIRE AMD Championship. The finalist from the Championship will attend and be challenged by some of the best StarCraft II players in the world to compete for 400 000 SEK on the 24th to 26th of November in Jönköping, Sweden. The tournament will reach its climax with the semi finals and final taking place in front of 4000 people in the new DreamArena AMD SAPPHIRE on the 26th of November.

ROX.KIS.Abver who managed to fight through hundreds of players and secure a spot for the main tournament at DreamHack Winter. The next two chances to qualify are at the first and second of November.

Dates: 1 November and 2 November (start time 18.00 CET)

Game format: 1vs1 BO3 (Best of 3), Semi Final BO5 (Best of 5) Grand Final BO5 (Best of 5)
Tournament format: Random generated brackets, single elimination, top 2 qualifies
Map pool: TSL3 Metalopolis, Antiga Shipyard, ESL Shattered Temple, GSL Dual Sight, ESL Shakuras Plateau, Tal'Darim Altar LE, GSTL GSL TerminusRE
Sign-up: Online Qualification #3, Online Qualification #4

Tournament fee: All players need to buy an Event Pass (450 SEK), which includes all time access during the whole event and possibility to use the open sleeping hall. The Event Pass is bought at http://bokning.dreamhack.se

Main Tournament:
Dates: 24-26 November. The first set of groups start at 10.00 CET on the 24th. The Grand Final will be played at 23.00 Saturday the 26th of November

Game format: 1vs1 BO3 (Best of 3), Grand Final BO5 (Best of 5)
Tournament format:
Day 1: Group play #1 with 16 groups of 4 players each, 32 advances
Day 2: Group play #2 with 8 groups of 4 players each, 16 advances
Day 3: Playoff with single elimination
Map pool: TBA

I've noticed that TSL have been doing much more international oriented actions, sending aLive and polt to MLG, letting them stream and now sending clide to a foreign event (If I recall sangho has been to quite a few before) I wonder if TSL are looking for a foreign partner or foreign sponser.
Anyways best player in the universe got his group easy, and then he'll lose in the first round of elimination :>.
