I watched the panel live, and I must say that im not super convinced that all the things shown at this, is actually gonna make it into the finished game.. It looks like they are making things extremely complicated for themselves as developers.. On one side, I like this because it's ambitous - On the other side, Im affraid that it's abit too ambitous :/ | ||

There may be legal issues if they didn't have a media pass and or worked for blizzard and just got what i'd assume is a cheaper pass into the event and took footage to post for a media outlet. Long story short if they did it right and blizzard didn't tell them they couldn't they should be fine. | ||

I guess part of that would be mitigated if you could use probes to bring resources to a CC, and if supply depots counted towards your own protoss supply cap, then the real cost is only something like 500/200 for an OC since you actually get a viable expansion, but assuming mules pay for the cost of the OC itself, then really its 350/200 extra cost for an OC-- still a pretty big time/resource investment. I suppose the easy fix would be to restrict workers to being able to bring minerals/gas back only to native command structures-- this forces you to build scvs out of the CC if you actually want the CC to pay for itself as a viable expansion. *shrugs* I just think it's funny that they're so worried about it. | ||
