San Francisco, CA – October 12, 2011 – TwitchTV, the world’s largest video game broadcasting community, today announced two key hires from the eSports community: Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham and James “2GD” Harding. These professional gaming luminaries have extensive experience as players, managers, moderators and more in the gaming industry. They will collectively strengthen TwitchTV’s impact on the live video game streaming industry.
Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham is a prolific member of the Global Pro-Gaming community, where he got his start as a competitor. For over 12 years, he has acted as a game broadcaster, league ambassador, and industry consultant for some of the world’s largest professional video game organizations and supporting brands.
Mr. Graham has traveled to over 20 countries during his involvement with professional gaming and is known for producing the world’s first daily live video game show on the Internet, Epileptic Gaming. He currently hosts content on TwitchTV’s OneMoreGame.TV, which provides live streaming entertainment to gamers around the world as one of the largest eSports related channels. Prior to OneMoreGame.TV, he created eSports and video game content for several high-profile companies including DirecTV, Dish Network, Samsung, and G4TV.
As the new eSports manager for TwitchTV, Mr. Graham will be responsible for managing relationships and business development with the world’s leading eSports personalities, leagues, tournaments and other organizations.
James “2GD” Harding is a high profile main-stay in European eSports. With over 12 years in the industry, Harding has proven his dedication to eSports with his roles as professional gamer on multiple titles, general manager of Fnatic, Host and commentator for Turtle Entertainment (ESL TV), eSport manager and competitive feature designer at FUNCOM for Bloodline Champions.
