Riku has rocketed to prominence over the last three months, having been scouted by fellow female poster and internet veteran NeverGG. NeverGG has been taciturn when asked about Riku’s posting-style, unwilling to disclose too much for fear of compromising the unique air of mystery that surrounds TL’s first female proposter. When pressed for comment, NeverGG had this to say,
It’s because of strong, independent women like Riku that the rest of us can enjoy the respect we have today. All women owe a debt of gratitude to Riku for her courage. Her determination in the face of a hostile world has been nothing short of inspirational.

Of course, Riku hasn’t come from humble beginnings. Trained by Sean Day[9] Plott, Riku has worked hard to perfect her blogging, cementing her fundamentals through the use of a mass-blogging style that closely emulates the scale of content production otherwise unseen outside of Korean proposting houses. She would eventually earn Day[9]’s seal of approval:

Deprived of a proposting atmosphere, Riku has until now been forced to train exclusively on the blog ladder, experimenting with blog builds and timings where they’re most likely to be punished, yet she has persevered. Indeed, she’s gone so far as to say, “I want to be for SC2 proposting what NeverGG was for BW proposting.”
Of course, many have questioned the addition of another Arts & Crafts style blogger to the roster and what this means for the current metaposting trend, which has seen Prose posters largely sidelined at the top of the blog ladder, with Milkis the only Prose blogger in the top five at present. Arts & Crafts proposters FuDDx and Glider have come to dominate this season, and we’ll have to wait and see if Riku can continue that trend, or if she is to continue her recent trend of posting offrace in Prose. As ever, Trozz remains the only Poetry proposter in the top five.
For the moment, it is unclear whether Riku will join the rest of the proposters in the Liquid house and what it might mean for the team dynamic. When we asked FuDDx he went quiet for a time before eventually saying,

If Riku does move into the proposting house, commentators have been quick to predict an upsurge in high-quality girl-blogs from well-known posters, especially as the sexual magnetism of posters like Trozz and Milkis comes into play. For this alone, Riku has drawn criticism from other proposters, with Catz commenting that,
It’s possible that female bloggers should stay in their own league; male posters simply can’t be expected to compete on the same terms.
While many believe that Catz has a point, there has been an overwhelming response from fans who want to see the best proposters going head-to-head, regardless of gender.
