I would encourage everybody that is unfamiliar with RoL's experimental Mafia games to go read the links Decon has provided. They clearly illustrate the issues involved with inactive or lurking players just coasting in a non flip game. One thing that should absolutely not be tolerated in a no-flip game is lurkers. -Claims: Same as above, we can see what will happen after night 0. If you do read those you will notice two people arguing about the efficacy of claiming. That would be Decon and I.  I still stand by my opinion that claims in a no flip game are all WIFOM and I probably won't believe you. Particularly in a game twice the size as those Decon linked. | ||

Just looking at meta on decon from the several games I've played with him I get the feeling he is town. He's not bashful straight out of the gate as a townie. He tends to be more subdued when he plays scum until late game. | ||

The problem I have with that atm is I think he's most likely town. I don't subscribe to the "useless townie" theory. Useless townies are inactive and the host deals with them through modkills. The one time I pushed the useless townie card was on Bill Murray. It almost cost us the game. I'd rather not revisit that scenario. | ||
