As a matter of fact, it is happening! Ver is my witness, but he is not playing! Argh! After the last game I played, I told Ver that I would play a serious game. Also, since there are no flips -- I can not afford to act crazy because that will just confuse the town. My death can't explain anything. So, I will avoid riddles and equivocal communication.
If town does decide to lynch me, I will most likely play crazy in more games to come. Last time I attempted to play the sane game, I was shot on day 1. That game I decided to play normally, because I was tried of trolling (trolled the two games prior -- trolling is a tiring task).
There is no pms this game -- more the reason for me to play sane. I cannot have any hidden agendas. So, that leaves me with the option of analyzing scum in the open -- which i typically never do.
Things I noticed about my scum analysis abilities:
I find I typically good at analyzing people in the shadows where there isn't much spotlight on them. A flaw I have is that I have trouble discriminating people with blues roles vs being red. I find I can spot non-roles vs roles rather easily. However, this game we don't know the roles nor how many, Everyone could have a role. But I know this isn't true. Of course, GM will say to ignore such matters. But for me roles have major impact on playing style, thus cannot be neglected in analysis. Ever hear of a role schema? If someone is given a role -- they will play that role. A clever player will try to pretend to be another role.. but let's hope we can see through such attempts.
No flips = DO NOT BE BROWN. In this game, everyone must be clear and straightforward. We must avoid typical scum hunting tatics. Do Not Lie to gain information. Do Not Lie to get someone to react in the thread. Do Not act crazy. Answer all questions directly. If you do not want to reveal information, then state that you don't feel comfortable providing such information. Do not ignore people. Not in this setup.
This is a new game.

Your policy number two is based on specifically NOT ignoring a role claim. Wuddup wit dat? In a more general sense, I have a problem with your policy of having policies. I find policies restrictive and in my experience different situations require situational judgement. If you want to stress that role claims are very unreliable in this setup and we should be highly skeptical of them, I approve. The reason behind the conflict between policy 1 and 2, is that the town is pretty much unable to ignore a DT claim, especially considering how vociferous some DTs can be. The same goes with the DT policy, by doing this I avoid any kind of shenanigans where mafia decides to claim DT. Obviously we aren't going to adhere to these policies no matter what, but by establishing them as the basic procedure we follow, barring exceptional circumstances, we basically avoid those situations. Would you like it better if I called them "guidlines" rather than "policies'? I just feel like the word policy carries more weight. Addressing Radfeild, I fully agree with killing an inactive/lurker day 1, and am opposed to no lynching, just on principle. Sure with a no flip setup its going to be difficult to obtain as much information from the lynch as it would be in a open flip setup, but if we don't lynch then our chances of hitting scum are 0. If we do lynch and we analyze, then they are significantly higher than zero. To win we need to kill scum, not lynching does not lead to killing scum, it just gives scum more time to shoot at the town. Yes, sure they only have one KP, but the more we no-lynch the easier time they have controlling the lynch. Also if people want to see games with majority lynch, I do believe the first PYPs required a majority to lynch. This is a mechanic almost as significant as no flip, so really pay attention to it.
The reason behind the question was to initiate small talk. I was hoping to get a conversation started where the atmosphere was relax. That way your guard would be down and I could get a good feel of your posting tendencies. However, you decided to go to sleep last night so I didn't have anyone to talk to..
As for my favorite moment in mafia... geez, so many! I will have to answer this more broadly. My favorite moments in mafia is when everyone in the game thinks I'm horrible or crazy and then I used my super abilities and shock the town. That and Trolling, making stories, videos, riddles, encrypted codes, hidden messages, establishing my own top secret groups, dodging lynches at the last second, random voting, being unreadable, creating games within games, redefining the normal approach to the game, being on the suspect list the entire game and not dying, taunting mafia as town, taunting town as mafia, PM land, taunting in pm land, pretending I have bombs or am some imba role which I have never ever gotten.. just you wait.. pm threat letters, killing to form a message, escaping death when it seems all is lost, making pictures..../sigh I love this game../cry its been so nice to me... It would be a shame if someone decides to kill me..

On to more important things: The Lynch
We know that there needs to be a majority lynch, the magic number today is 9. Here's what we should do. Build a case against, AT THE MOST, 2 players. This should be done within the first 24 hours. Have some good arguments ready because the town will pressure you by asking WHY we should lynch the person you're suspecting. Once we have a general idea of the two players we want to lynch we settle it over a vote. This guarantees that one player will be lynched.
A couple of rules when voting should be established:
1. Do not vote for yourself
2. Do not vote for someone to essentially avoid confrontation or to "save your vote."
3. Try to vote once and stick with it.
If you are protown you should abide by these rules. If you're scum you are highly encouraged to break these rules. Townies caught breaking these rules will die, and I will not feel sorry when we lose due to idiocy.
Lurking will get you killed, so don't try it.
I'll post suspects when I'm ready, it's really too early to just throw names out there.
How will townies die if they break the rules? How will it be enforced? A vigi kill.. oh wait.. I guess rule breakers will live another day! How will lurkers get killed? Wait.. is there a day vigi? Don't Shoot!
