Burzynski, the Movie is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest, and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food and Drug Administration in American history.

In the 1970’s, Dr. Burzynski made a remarkable discovery that threatened to change the face of cancer treatment forever. His non-toxic gene-targeted cancer medicine could have helped save millions of lives over the last two decades had his discovery not been criminally suppressed by the US government, as his therapy, called “antineoplastons,” have been shown to effectively help cure some of the most “incurable” forms of terminal cancer.

This documentary takes you through the treacherous 14-year journey Dr. Burzynski and his patients have had to endure in order to finally obtain FDA-approved clinical trials of antineoplastons.

Don't know if its real, I had been watching a portion of the video and seems like it is, its amazing the lengths the FDA will go to profit.
Im surprised this isn't on any.frontpages of news , this is pretty big if it is indeed true :-o

I'm pretty sure there are multiple cures for cancer that have been kept quiet. Another one is hemp oil. Youtube the Rick Simpson story.

I'm not saying they are in the right here...

but what about population control? We already have an exploding population ona planet with inherently limited resources.
maybe a cure for cancer would be a bad thing.

Medias continuously report "cures" for cancer or aids and they're usually treatments that "look like they might work", but yeah... most end up not being very good at all.

I mean, who the hell is "Weather-tech" and why do they report "Deadly Levels of Radiation Detected in Tokyo at Ground Level" at the top of the page, considering that deadly levels of radiation were not detected anywhere near Tokyo...

Edit: So yeah the radiation thing was sourced from a blog...

There is no "cure" for "cancer" there are cures for various types of cancers, but there is never going to be a panacea that will work on all various forms of neoplastic growths that one may acquire.

FYI, there are A LOT of cures out right now. Many are not FDA approved due to the fact that it takes SO long for a drug to get approval due to numerous tests that need to be done. It isn't a simple one week in, the next week it is approved deal. They often need to track patients over the course of years to get FDA approval.

There is fast track options through the FDA, that take 45 days, but as far as I know they do not use these options for cancer.

Another thing, there are no cures that work on everyone. Everyone's body responds to the cancers differently and each have their own set of gene mutations and protein expression that is present in the growths.

Macho Man Randy Savage's personal slim-jims can stop cancer. However, after Randy was going to go public and offer them all for free, the government knew they had to eliminate him.

Trust no one.

Well he was brought to court after giving treatment with illegal drug and for commercialy selling it.
FDA wanted it to be aproved first. They forced him to stop advertising the product, he appealed on the grounds of free speech (lol) and was rejected. He was found guilty of fraud for getting insurence for not aproved drug.

From that it doesn't really mean they wanted to shut him down, however it also doesn't mean he was trying to scam money or something. If he believes he's got a cure, then go for it and gl. He's only guilty of trying to spread it before finnishing clinical trials and getting approval.

The thing is, that he's not yet ready I think. He hasn't published his research in medical journals (peer-reviewed). That's what bothers me. He's now still doing clinical trials, so all we can do is hope for the best.

You shouldn't really blame FDA though. It's the best what we have (that I know of) to make sure the research is done well. All he needs to do is satisfy their conditions, which, should he have a cure, shouldn't be that big of a deal.

EDIT: Making a move is kind of a "meh" move by him. Good for publicity I guess.

the fact that they are hiding this its just wrong. if population control was the reason why, they could just make it a extremely expensive treatment, not all people will take it but the option is there.

99.99% chance this is crap, just like all the other "cures" posted by dubious news organizations.

meh, i don't know, my dad told me about how he had a prof. in college who made a cheap efficient electric car in the 70s but the oil companies paid him millions of dollars to sell it all to them (plans, copyrights, everything). So really wouldn't suprise me in the least to have this go on.. cancer is a cash cow for pharmaceutical companies (funny that my dad works in pharmaceutical now >.<)

Many new cures for different types of cancer are found all the time. Any "zomg cure for cancer hidden" news is just sensationalist conspiracy.

Burzynski is a quack and a scam. He refuses to test any of his so called cures in anything but his own trials which he does not blind, does not conform to normal scientific standards... and if you read his data carefully he disproves his own claims in his own data, you just have to dig because he shows flashy flawed statistics.

No, the FDA is not holding out on cures.... big pharma is not holding out on cures, they would pay billions for a "cancer cure" because everyone would buy it.

Burzynski is a terrible individual who preys on those who are desperate, takes their money, and goes about his day. People who peddle fake cures and crap like this are the scum of the earth in my opinion and I hate them.... and dont tell me they do no harm, they do plenty, because people dont get appropriate care when they need it.

Every time I see a client who wants to pursue an alternative treatment for a disease I know I can cure, but they wont let me I drives me crazy, and I have countless patients that have been directly harmed by scam treatments

(no, I am not an MD, I am a DVM, but even us as veterinarians have to deal with this scam medicine and it makes me sick)

It's even worse then.

Good God the cynicism. If the cure was found, do you people not think there would be a good soul amongst the people involved. It would get out, have a little faith in humanity.

sadly thats sort of where we are headed, pharmaceuticals are trying to hold everyone by the balls, ironic that the knockoff brands are a good thing to stop ridiculous prices even if they are ripping off the big name medical brands (but who cares they make billions anyways)

There isn't any good reason for a government organization to "keep quiet" a "miracle" cure of any sort. Stop with the conspiracy theories the guy was circumnavigating the law and got punished. No one is trying to suppress anything. So many stories similar to this get reported all the time, someone said above he hasn't even published any work yet? How do you know that this is real if this one link is your only source.
