![]() I have to say, though, this is the lowest thing Gretech has done to date. They know damn well that the stream doesn't require Gom player, but they won't allow us to use any other program, and they won't develop a mac client (or they're taking their sweet ass time). So I, as a paying customer, am now only getting half the product for my money, because I use a mac.

Good luck Worked for me too after two tries after not having any success with VLC the usual way. If you use this method, please make sure your GOMtv e-mail/password combo isn't something you use anywhere else, because your password will be sent in plaintext over the air.

![]() What do you mean by "after x tries"? do you just mean trying multiple times to open the network in the VLC player? I still haven't had any success after at least 10 tries

if you also get that weird error when you try to use gom player you can still paste the link into gom player to get it to work

That's why we're using VLC to begin with.

However, I was able to paste the stream link into the Firefox address bar, and it started continuously downloading the stream into several files: a small file (probably meta-data) called "view.cgi", and another file (sort of a hard-drive buffer) called "view.cgi.part". I then went into VLC and clicked File -> Open File, and opened "view.cgi.part". So anyone reading this later on should now have several new methods to attempt to replace the old one. Great Success.
