In your series versus drewbie you came back from a 2-0 start and at the end of game two you said “you just don’t know what to do in PvT”, however you then went on to win the next 3, how does this work?
In the series I tried really hard in the first game, I've been working on the build so I thought that I would be able to come out on top. I tried to do some lethal damage and his mass phoenix shut me down. After that loss I devastated and I went into the second game with the mindset to take it into a long game and edge out a victory, but I was so flustered from the first game I did a build that I've never tried before.
So to answer your question, I was upset after trying my hardest and losing.
I went back to my original game plan in game 3 and fed off of the win to gain enough confidence to take the next two matches.
Throughout the series you never did your famous ghost push! The commentators were all over it, why was this? Or were you saving it for a must win situation?
I haven't practiced it well enough to feel confident in doing a ghost rush in high level tournament play, but I've thought over the idea of it and have planned something in the future. I have an idea of what to do, 30 games and that idea will lead to intense situations.
Who did you most fear or not want to play against going into the tournament?
An easy answer, Protoss. As a Terran player I find TvP very frustrating, It's very hard to understand. I'm working through all the ins and outs of the match up, and I wasted weeks on playing mech only to find out that mech itself will not work vs an abusive high level player. There are variations that coud make the build work, for now I will not figure those out. Once I find a steady high level Protoss practice partner I'll feel confident.
Basically, DDoro and Cruncher.
This obviously relates to the fact that you said you were happy that drewbie had defeated CrunCher, however were you really that happy to be playing against drewbie or is it simply that you feel you have a better chance in a TvT than TvP ?
I was totally confident that I could beat drewbie, and I still am confident I can beat him. That day just wasn't my day. He was a step ahead the whole way through.
I always feel more confident in anything other than TvP
You chose macro maps having lost so that you "weren't a stones throw away", is this because you rate your macro game higher than drewbie's or felt it would advantage you or were you just not wanting to face a crazy all in or cheese having lost a game?
I feel confident in my macro against any player, as long as I remain focused. I felt I would have an advantage going into a late game with Drewbie, but I didn't make it that far in any of the games.
Yeah, I'd like to give a shout out to the people who hosted the tournament. You all did a fantastic job and I hope I could get the privilege to play for you again.
Other shoutouts would include Scott, my teams manager. He's a good man.
Eddy one of my sponsers; he's been with me for a long time. Without him I woudn't be here now.
And the last shoutout will be to Kevin, my best Efriend. Without him I woudn't even be playing SC2, and I thank all he's done.him for
I’m very dedicated and I'd love the oppertunity to bring high quality/skill games to the public. I'm full of suprizes and I want to show people that.

In the first round you played against a player who you were expected to beat 2-0. Did this make you more or less confident and did you feel free to try out some new strategies in the games?
I used the first series as kind of a warmup for my match vs Sheth, since they were both zerg. I did my main TvZ strategy and my opponent tried to cheese me so they really weren't very good warmup games xD.
DdoRo lost his Semi Final series after being 2-0 up, would you feel comfortable to be playing him in the final and how would you prepare or play differently?
Well I practice a lot with DdoRo and he is a really good player, as well has having a lot of weird/cheesy/crazy strategies. So even though I was rooting for DdoRo because we are teammates, I was kind of happy that I didn't have to play him, because it gave me a better chance to win the tournament.
You took out the final 3-0, did you expect it to be so easy and would you classify TvT as one of your strongest matchups?
I usually have really close games/series with Kyhol so i definitely did not expect to win 3-0, but he kept doing the exact same build every game and I know how to beat the style that he played so it worked out pretty good. I think that TvT and TvZ are my best matchups, I don't know which one is better, it's really hard to judge. But TvP is definitely my worst matchup lol.
You played Sheth in Round of 16 and used some very original strategies, were these strategies that you had practiced heavily before or were they mainly situational?
Well me and Sheth practice together a lot so I think we both didn't want to do our normal build orders because it would be easy to abuse, at least that was my line of thinking. So I think we both played kind of weird and it worked out to make a pretty crazy series.
With the NASL so close, do you hope to be accepted? and would you like to take this opportunity to tell fans why they should vote for you?
Of course I would love to play in the NASL. I think that I am one of the best Terran players in North America and hopefully everyone enjoys watching me play
Each time you lost you opted for Lost Temple which was included in the map pool, do you think it was necessary for blizzard to remove LT from the Map pool and replace it with Shattered Temple?
No I think that Lost Temple was pretty well balanced, except for TvZ which was pretty hard for zerg ( even though I have seen IdrA and TLO both stop qxc's "invincible" thor drop on LT ) The reason I picked it is just because it is one of the maps that I have played the most games on and I feel like its more of a macro map which favors my style.
Who did you most fear or not want to play against, if anyone, going into the tournament?
I think the two people that I did not want to play were CrunCher and DdoRo because TvP is really hard for me at the moment. I played really well though and stopped CrunCher's aggressive builds, but I really didn't think that I was going to win 3-1, especially after losing the first game of the series.
Would you be interested in playing in future TeamPure Events?
Yea of course, when will the next event be? ^_^
