that said, there may be people who could use bodyguards much more than i could, so who the hell knows. i just know that subjectively speaking, i'd definitely be happy as mayor solely due to the protection. dont really care about the extra votes or anything. | ||

the mayoral role is not really a town leader position. it's an extra set of lives and a very weak voting power that can be overcome easily (and is 100% transparent). i am playing along with the leadership meme because hey it makes sense, but think about what POWER the mayor has. the only power it has is protection and a weak voting boost. any other leadership that the town chooses to assign to the mayor player is entirely on their own volition. why do we want to give death protection to a mason? there is no real reason we want to keep the masons alive above someone else who can actually affect things, right? so he has a circle, cool, what does that do for us and why would his death hurt the town, per se? if i died it would be much worse than a random mason dying, that is all i am saying. are there others out there with roles better suited to protection? probably. but they aren't talking, so i will. | ||

but i think mayor candidates shouldnt reveal this anyway because if they would go after a mafia, it may incentivize other mafia to vote against them or to not vote for them when they otherwise would | ||

does your role have ANY harmful powers? as in, can you use it to kill someone (vig/spread murrayitis)? or is it purely a beneficial power? i mean the role called "sticky" makes me think you can kill somebody | ||

but i am obviously not winning this one. i dont necessarily believe drh yet, but i do not want to vote pandain because he lied, as a town, in haunted and i really dont understand that play whatsoever. if he lies as town why mayor him up? | ||

if you have an investigative role, you should consider using it on yourself night 1 this way, if for example you know youre blue DT and you check yourself and come back red, you know you are insane DT. | ||
