1v1 Nexus Wars/Colonial Line Wars?

Is there a way to play Nexus Wars or Colonial Line Wars with just 1 lane active? The games seem to determine teams/sides based on join order, and so far we haven't found a way to setup the game 1v1 or 2v2 using just 1 lane. I'm getting really bored of winning/losing based on a lane I had no part in 50% of the games I play.

i really dont think teh game is balanced for a 1v1

when you create the game, add ai's, then make it public.

been playing 1v1 too...pm me if u wanna have some games

Nexus wars is a 1v1 really.

you add the ai's, then make it public and then kick the AI's when the last slot fills? Or how many do you add? The AI actually plays if you leave them, heh.

If you want to play colonial line wars 1v1 or 2v2 adding computers into the unused slots works. Simply join and add 2 computers to your team then invite your opponent and add 2 computers to their team. The computers will not take any actions in clw.

There's also a number of us doing inhouses many nights of the week, so if you're interested in that you can find good competition that way.
