Dont know if u know about this,most likely not so:
5 Years ago in 1999 5 Bulgariam medics,1 doctor and 4 nurses were arrested in Libya.They were accused of INTENIONALY infecting 400 children with HIV!!!They spent 5 years in prison with countless number of trials.Finally 1 week ago they were were sentenced to death by firing squad.
The Facts:
The leading evidence of the trial was the confession of one palestinian doctor who was also arrested.
Besides that there absolute no other evidence.
There is 100% proof that our medics were tourchered with electricity,dogs and god knows what else during their stay in prison.There are pictures of the skars on the medics bodies.
The policemen who have done this were innocent according to the Libyan court.
The biggest experts in HIV infections said that according to the facts its impossible that the medics have done the infection!They said that the contamination started in 1997 year and a half before the medics were hired!!!
There are a lot facts that prove that our medics are innocent.
After the medics were sentenced to death there were pictures of the families of children on the streets of Tripoli who were celebrating like crazy.
What i think
These people have devoted their lifes to save and help people, not KILL them !But this is the muslim justice.The Libyan president Kadafi cant accuse their own doctors of doing this becouse in muslim countries things like this dont happen!!!!Such an act can be done only by a christians.
And finaly yesterday on www.aljazeera.net was poll about should our medics be killed or not.BUT ONLY ON THE ARABIC VERSION OF THE SITE.NOT I WORD ON THE ENGLISH VERSION!!!!!!!!!!
So this is the best way to make someone to hate muslim people,goverment,way of life and everything.

What!? You say someone should hate all muslims for some doctors being sentenced to death? I think you're upset ONLY because they were bulgarian like yourself.
HIV is such a problem in Africa, they go nuts if they find out someone is spreading it, it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with muslims! If it'd been in South Africa, the punishment would probably be the same (don't know if they have death penalty, otherwise it'd be life).
Those doctors might not have been intentionally spreading it, they might have been ignoring medical proceedures.
Or they didn't spread it at all.
This doesn't have anything to do with religion really, it's culture. If your country had been a colony with a history of torture and slavery, you wouldn't welcome western people with a happy smile, you'd be rather suspicious.

This is absolutely terrible, and just one example of the huge problem we are facing worldwide. With fools like sushiman I wonder what it will take for people to face the reality that in many, many parts of the world Islam is a medieval mindset with a pathological inability to tolerate difference.
I don't know the solution, but at least I've faced up to the problem.

Man, that's some harsh stuff, although technically I think the religion (Muslim) has nothing to do with it.
The point of them being torchered (correct spelling?) via electricity and dogs seem even more fucked up so. Why was that?

In all muslim countries (with very few exceptions - Turkey) the religion is the main factor in taking desicions.

I've read about that in newspapers, that is really an awfull story.
What probably happened is Lybian public services did something wrong, contaminating many people with HIV in the process. Lack of methodology, lack of funding, wrong clinical behaviours, not enough training, ... those and some careless officials are for sure the roots of the contamination. And now the gouvernement puts the guilt on foreigners.
I don't get why the EU didn't pressure Lybia to get the Bulgarians out. Lybia is presently trying to get in better terms with the occidental world, and they really lost points in this story.

In fact major EU officials and the U.S. genral secretary said that there are not enough proofs in this trial.But this means nothing for mister Kadafi

Why blame Islam. The religion doesn't hae to do with the bulgarians spreading HIV to Africa. And plz midwich stfu since u dont realize the problem and start talking shit about Islam. U are from UK so people knw what u and ur government thinks about muslims. U probably think that Israel and Sharon the pig is doing right down there in Palestina.
