The Green Forest E-Cafe LAN is fast approaching, and it's time for the online qualifier to be announced! As stated in the previous thread, the qualifier will feature 64 players, with 32 advancing to the LAN Finals, which will be held on August 14th-15th 2010 at the Green Forest E-Cafe.
There are currently 16 groups with 4 players each - the top 2 will advance from each group to the next stage (and qualifies you for the LAN final). Without further adieu, here are the groups:

Date & Time: The qualifier will be played Saturday July 31st starting at 3pm EST (running until however long it takes to finish).
Format: Round robin, BO3 each match, start map: Metalopolis, loser chooses.
Contacting opponent: PM Them on TL! (the names listed are their TL accounts).
Advancing: Top 2 from each group advance
FAQ:
1) Can I contact my opponent and play now: YES... pm me the replays afterwards
2) I can't make it July 31st: PM me so we can replace you
3) My opponent doesn't want to play now, can I W.O: No, play July 31st if you can't agree to play now
4) Can I not pay the entry fee: Nope, pay the entry fee... if the entry fees are not paid by July 31st you will be replaced

Also I'm going to assume in the bo3 that once a map is played it cannot be played again?

it says BO3 and what the start map is... and yes, can't repeat maps.

So after the group stage what format is it going to be? Winner/Loser Bracket? Bo3? etc.
Also, are the players who advance out of group stage going to be randomized for that, or will they be playing people from the proximity groups?
PS- August 14 & 15 is Sat. Sun. , Can't wait for this

Status on other stuff:
1) there will be live casting of the group stages
2) The finals will be filmed and uploaded after the fact

Hopefully this will cut out any flakey-ness and help improve over all attendance (we are aiming for 100 live spectators for the booths).
Spectators please RSVP so we know how much food we need to purchase. There is apparently a ton of stage room but food is limited

it looks as the groups are seeded, that's smart, however:
Group K
NerO
Raydog
HATEPLOW
Bubba
Group K has 3 players that you'd prob consider for seeding, players that I've seen arround @ least, defo my pick for group of death.
Group N and Group O each have 2 players that i've seen arround and know are good as well, Groups M, P, J and perhaps I, seem a lot easier to qualify from. Just my personal opinion in any case. looking forward to this gl to all~!
