Learn 2 StarCraft is hosting Pacific North West/Vancouver's first StarCraft 2 LAN tournament to celebrate the launch of Starcraft 2!

StarCraft 2 is being released on July27th, this is THE premier launch LAN being hosted in Vancouver, BC, Canada.Be the first to test your skills in person and hook up with the local SC2 community.

The LAN will feature a World Cup style tournament with door prizes and HUGE prizes for the top players.

Walk-in registration starts at 11:30am
Tournament will start at 12:30pm
To all Pre-registered players please be at VS Gaming Arena by 12:00

1st = 300$ cash + ASUS GeForce GT 220 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16
2nd = 150$ cash + Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard - OEM Voodoo Red Edition
3rd = 50$ cash + Razer Abyssus Gaming Mouse 3 Button 3500DPI
All Players are entered into a raffle for a chance of Five 20$ gift certificate to A-Power Computers.
Pre Paid Players are drawn into a raffle for Star Craft 2 – Retail Box + 1 extra ballot for the all players Draw
Pwnage game of the night! Each player of that match get's 100$ gift certificates to A-Power Computers

Since this is at an actual location, this does mean that there is a cover charge.

25$ Part of this will go towards rental of VS-Gaming on their graciously discounted price. The other half will go towards the top 3 prize pool

dont really feel like the prizepool is enough to pull a lot of good players, gl tho glad more lans are coming up!

You will need to have a login to Battle.net for this tournament.

Also note we are giving away 3 copies of the game at the event

Yeah, it looks like there's a lot more prizes to be handed out than just the 1st,2nd,3rd place finishers. Great job organizing this with A-power sponsor ! Vancouver's awesome D:

I've been getting this question lots so ill answer here..

You don't have to pay up front and can still register now and pay at the door. But Pre Paid users are entered into the additional draw for a SC2 retail box!
