Why do I so often see toss go 2 gate, then only build 3 goons before expanding. I don't really get the point of it at all, since you have to cut probes or delay goons or range to do it.

I can't see the replay so I'll assume you're talking about 10/15 or some similar build. The reason why you expand after 3 goons is quite simple. The terran MUST assume that you'll keep making dragoons, otherwise he risks getting run over. Scouting is almost impossible for the T since there are 3 goons out very quickly. Since you can resume probes immediately after starting goons #2 and #3, you'll never really be behind economically if you just expand while forcing the terran to play defensively and inch his way out. Of course, you can't do this if you suspect 2 fact.

I have no idea what led you to believe that you delay goons or range with a 10/15, because it's designed to pump out 3 ranged goons as fast as possible. There's no either/or about it, you simply cut probes for earlier goons.

Terran just got cocky and offensive gg'd when the game was 30% done Lol

Good game. Terran had to rebuild his base twice.
Human teleportation, molecular decimation, breakdown and reformation is inherently purging. It makes a man acute.

If any Terrans want a good reference for turtling - I'd recommend this replay!

Having 350 minerals with 50 more to come soon, spending it on something and continuing distance mining instead of getting a nexus was fine? Then wasting probes by allowing them to walk right next to a sieged tank? Sorry, but in my opinion, that's kinda dumb.
