a.) they often charge 2-3 bucks less than retail price (i.e $56.99 instead of $59.99) b.) no tax (so you've saved 6-7 bucks already if you include 'a.)' c.) awesome preorder deals, especially for big games (im getting $30 in e-giftcards after preordering FFXIII and BFBC2) d.) the free shipping is fast (2-3 days, they also offer release date delivery) there really isn't any reason to go to gamestop unless they are running a special deal.

I don't get 'no tax' from amazon... I'm guessing since I'm in NY State. Not sure about other states. Also, sometimes their free shipping is fast, and sometimes it isn't. I find them hit or miss.

I live in Germany, but I want to buy an English version for SC2. What page do you prefer for pre-ordering the game? It would be nice if it's going to arrive at the release day ^^

US online sales charge you sales tax if the company has a major location (any location?) in your state. Anyway, I'm just going to the store and buying it the day of release. Got a best buy ~1 minute down the road. I doubt they'll sell out and it saves all the hassle of hoping for delivery on time, campus mail to sort through and deliver it, etc.

Dunno if they will allow early downloading or something yea that would be cool if they do what Steam does somtimes.. Allowing you to install the game a few days early but not able to play the game until release day.

DONT do it. lol gamestop will sell it at retail price (FINE) and it will have a midnight launch (earliest you can get the game legally) gamestop is best option imo.
