Replay packs from the ladder stage of the TSL will not be released by TL Staff until the tournament is over. However, players are free to release their own replay packs whenever or wherever they wish, provided they also release the pack on Teamliquid.net. Players may not sell or release replays from their TSL account for monetary or commercial gain.
If you want your TSL replay pack hosted at TL.net, host it at www.senduit.com and post the link in this thread. A staff member will download and host your replay pack at TL.net for you.

I don't understand how TL can forbid players from selling their replay packs for monetary gain. The replay packs are not property of Team Liquid and the "TSL" accounts are not property of Team Liquid. Basically you are telling people they cannot sell what is rightfully theirs. The rules never stated that you could not sell your replays until after the tournament began, and beyond that what penalty could you enforce on non-qualifying participants? You created a framework for the tournament through existing infrastructure and not a single player legally agreed to anything of the sort. Maybe I am missing something here, but maybe it could be re-worded to "Players are strongly encouraged to not sell or release replays from their TSL account for menetary or commercial gain." If there is something I am not getting please let me know.

Obviously they only care about the qualifying players wrt this rule

Yessss
reps reps reps! Thanks TT1 and Shauni (and also future rep releasers!)

@Rabbet It is a mystery to me as well. Particularly in the wording of the last sentence. I don't think there is a deep reason for the new rule, just that they don't want the top 48 players making money off TSL on the side.

It means if they do it then they'll get punished which is fully within the ability of tl to do. Rightfully theirs or whatever doesn't come into it.

Rabbet you're almost right with your block of text. TSL wouldn't win in court, but nothing stops them from DQ'ing you if you sell your replays...
|
Will upload mine once I find the will to actually compile the 403 reps of games I played from my autorep folder and removing all 3sec reps etc. Probably will get around doing it within a few days.
