- You advanced into the Round of 16, after showing very aggressive play.
▲ I came here, ready to show my aggressive play style. The concept for today was "don't give my opponent any moment to breathe". I usually went for a management-oriented game, but it seems my opponents can't handle my attacks well. That is why I chose to go for an aggressive style.
- With the OSL finals just a few days away, how is your practice coming alone?
▲ I am going to start preparing for the OSL Finals from today onwards. I have a lot to think about, as well as things to prepare for.
- It seems you practiced a lot for today.
▲ After the end of the Round of 4 of the OSL, I prepared only for today's match. I am hungry for the WCG title as well, so my target is to be one of the national representatives.
- You must be wanting to do good for both the WCG and OSL.
▲ It's not just me, but I think any progamer would feel the same way as well. I too want to do my best for both.
- Jaedong lost recently in the Round of 4 of the MSL. Did you watch the games?
▲ I personally didn't expect Jaedong to lose in a ZvZ Best of 5. But after seeing him lose, I felt that he was just another zerg. And I think that regardless of whether my opponent does well or not, they are all still the same. As long as I am in good condition that day, I would be able to win easily.
- Any final words?
▲ I would start preparing for the OSL finals starting today. As much as it is my first finals, I hope many people can come down to watch and cheer for me.
Fantasy: "I can focus better now, so I will be able to perform better."
"I want to try playing overseas."
"I want to try playing overseas."
- How does it feel to have played against an amateur?
▲ Even if he is an amateur, he is still one of the top amateurs sent out to participate in the selection stages, so I knew he would do quite well. I was looking forward to a great match, but I think it ended on a somewhat less-exciting note.
- Did you go for a strategic play to make use of the fact that your opponent has very little experience?
▲ That is part of the reason. I heard from people around me that my opponent likes to play strategically. That is why I initiated it and prevent him from playing strategically.
- Your opponent went for a strategic play in the second set.
▲ I usually wall off my entrance. I think my opponent tried to make use of that and went for a proxy rax. If I had walled, I might have been in deep trouble.
- You now only have WCG to focus on.
▲ That is the only competition I am now in. I can now focus on one league alone, so I think I will be able to produce good results.
- You must be wanting to play overseas.
▲ I have never gone overseas to play before, but those who have said that they all enjoyed it very much. I really want to go overseas, and if I do, I want to win the gold medal.
- Any final words?
▲ I am grateful to my fans who supported me. I have been eliminated from all leagues and I am now left in just the WCG, so I will work hard to become one of the national representatives.
