i have to some extant agree with this, i have lost my respect for jinro. I know he proborly doesnt give a shit but that doesnt matter. I was so impressed in season 3 by jinros solid and methodical play but now he just took out a (in my opinion) a better player with crap play and then even denying his cheese in the interveiw.

But this is sc2, the better player doesnt always win unlike in sc

Holy shit what a fucking disgrace. You're glossing over the fact that Jinro actually played less of a cheesy game than idra did. Idra 6-pooled straight up. Jinro did a cute little double bunker off of 1 rax and EVEN GOT GAS FIRST. Neither player played particularly cheesy, every osl final has an 8 rax or a 4 pool thrown in there, you need to learn to look at things objectively and man the fuck up, your dude lost these guys' dude won.

Jinro plays 30 macro games, cheeses in one and suddenly he's the world's most feared criminal. Idra, the guy who never cheeses, goes 6 pool, fails, and nobody says a word. I wonder if it would have been considered "genius play" if it worked. Funny little world.

Either way, congrats for another ro4 Jinro! I really wanna see you and Nestea in the finals. Hwaiting!

Honestly everyone hating on Jinro, please hate on Blizzard/maps instead. Granted a lot of people are mad that he used whatever tactic on whatever map, but that's not necessarily because he's a "cheesy" player. Look at JD during last OSL...maps were overall bad for zerg, and you saw him 4pool TWICE.

EDIT: Furthermore, on the map that WAS zerg favored, Flash FIVE RAXED. So yeah.

Jinro, you did a good job regardless of whether I liked the outcome...good luck vs. MarineKingPrime. You're going to need it (who wouldn't?)

And... if you are going to talk in such general terms (specially when talking bad about someone) back it up better. If you look at the statistics this season (gsl 4) jinro is still playing on avg longer games than the large majority (from liquipedia --> Jinro 6 games 18:50 avg length <-- needs updating ). I'll give you an anecdotal argument as well. His game vs OGSensanre in round of 32 was probably the longest game this season and defiantly one of the most awesomessss.

I'm not going to say that this is cheating, I'm even gonna go as far as saying it was very honest of Jinro to admit it in his interview (once again, I haven't seen it, but I infered it from what I read here on TL), but I have a question for you, Jinro (hopefully, you're reading this) : couldn't (or shouldn't) you have paused the game there and told IdrA you knew he was 6-pooling, when you really shouldn't have known yet?

It seemed to me like the most honest thing to do.

Anyway, once again, I don't mean to be disrespectful to Jinro, I was hoping IdrA would win because I play Zerg and IdrA is like my role model, but regardless of what happened in that game, Jinro certainly deserves his spot in the final 4 and I hope he goes even further.

I'm really asking this in a non-malicious mindset because I think it would've set a great example of fairplay and sportsmanship, but then again, I can only imagine what goes through the head of champions such as GSL top Code-S players at a moment like this, and I'm not judging Jinro badly based on what happened. If anything, his honesty during the interview gives him more credit in my eyes than he already had (and that says something).

Oh, and I'm going to edit this post because ....

Good luck in the finals Jinro, I know you're gonna show MKP who's the boss! Just remember to siege your tanks, unlike Nada

So what if he had paused the game and it turned out the commentators where reacting to something different? Jinro didn't hear them say he was 6 pooling, only a "Oooooh" kind of sound. Should they continue the game? Then he would know he wasn't 6 pooling. Restart the game anyway?

The point is, and that's what I understood from what I read : you know when a 6-pool is happening almost as soon as the game starts (the zerg isn't making any drones), and there's no way they could've been yelling about anything else this early in the game, so it's pretty obvious what is going on. Or am I way off here?

No, I was trying to scan the tumor but I hit the wrong hotkey - I was pretty worried actually because I didnt think the game was over yet.

I didnt KNOW he was 6 pooling, in one of the other games I also heard the commentators say something but couple the fact that this is a super imba map with what I heard, and I decided to scout (and completley miss his lings).

Btw, I can tell you that if IdrA hadnt gotten bunkered on Metal I WOULD have cheesed the fuckign shit out of him and I dont care what anyone thinks about it, because on 2/3 positions on that map, I think cheese is the best option for terran to win. Just like what IdrA thought on Jungle Basin, which is a fucking impossible map for zerg in a normal game.

Why would he be? It's not like he actually benefited from it in any way by starting up a bunker preemptively, by the time idra's units got in his base he was at a major disadvantage imo. The game was won fair and square.

Considering scouting is actually worse vs 6 pool than not scouting if you dont see the 6 pool on the way there, I dont see why I should.

Don't be ridiculous. He hadn't even walled off when the lings arrived at his base. The game would have been identical either away, early scout or not. Nice job Jinro, train well.

you have got to be joking.

Ofcourse it wont be replayed. there was no vivisible change besides the early scout which didnt change anything he did because he missed the lings. seriously can we drop the whole omg jinro is cheating thing. Just congratulate him and move on.

Goodluck in the round of 4 hope you win it

Thanks for the answer, Jinro.

I just asked because of the statement GOM support made, I'm certainly not hoping for a rematch.
