Awesome episode! It's one of the better ones for sure but I personally don't like it AS much as the really cheerful episodes like Friend in Deed etc | ||

+ Show Spoiler + it wouldn't have even been that good if adorkable Twi wasn't so adorkable it was predictable which kinda made it uninteresting despite all the other stuff happening, and while the pacing wasn't bad, it felt like it could've been better; Twi going back into the past also wouldn't have been absolutely necessary to show in its entirety for the 2nd time I just often feel like some eps could have so many more scenes / so much more action packed into them whenever they unnecessarily slow down with some scenes oh well, guess I'm just not in the best mood right now | ||

It was a lot of fun. Not quite up to M.A. Larson's standards, but that's because it's M.A. fucking Larson, the genius behind almost every one of the "best" episodes. That being said, I really loved the episode and the amount of cool stuff that got crammed into it. And, as usual with Larson episodes, it was paced superbly and nothing really felt rushed or thrown in at the last second. Case in point: making time for the whole time traveling scene at the end. My only complaint is they showed us Molestia but no royal plot. >:| | ||

The nature of the episode made it predictable, you aren't gonna make a time travel story that doesn't loop, if you do you are just a poor writer. The things you have to focus on are the methods of the future becoming true, because we know the end result, in that respect I enjoyed it very much. They intentionally used those random and fairly light-hearted accidents to form a badass looking twilight, which is pretty amusing. Overall it was really nice, not fangasm levels, but I reserve those for mane 6 episodes. 9.5/10 | ||

I don't get why predictability is such a sin in a children's show. Sure this episode didn't have a massive twist, but the progression of past Twilight to future Twilight was the fun part. Twilight being so sleep deprived and paranoid that her only logical choice to prevent the disaster is to stop time entirely? Awesome. | ||

Agreed with above. I knew where it was going the second I saw Future Twilight, but I didn't care one bit. Time travel loops are all about the journey, and this was a really funny journey. Larson's pacing and amazing real life references delivers. =) | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Close to being Best Episode 9.5ish for me. Besides the obvious awesome Twilight references. She is the most adorkable after all, they had a great opportunity to bring Luna in, then BAM Celestia and I was like 'of course' *rolleyes* atleast Luna Guards were still awesome. But their were other Parts that made this Episode really great, More Mythology Aspects(Cerberus and FS perfect legit way of dealing with that  which I favorite and some more Background Info about Towns around Equestria and the Architecture of Canterlot. Also the Fanbase was catered to again (Gypsy Pinkie woot) which is a good thing, if the Show Creator are keeping Track of what is going on in the Fanbase. anyway a Week Ban is the worst possible thing. I wasn't even Spoiling anything, just Basic Information that was linked on the very same IRC some time ago, with the basic future EqD Episode Synopsis and while I avoid Spoilers in General. I do look at what future Episodes are gonna be about to get a good Gauge in what Direction it goes. | ||
