But what I find even more hilarious is the fact that everyone's arguing between Sen and DongRaeGu being the better Zerg, when this controversy is killing eSPORTS!
AZKWitchdoc was pretty active in this thread at the start until the problems started happening, like the 9+ hour delay, the sound problems, the stream constantly dying, the ads running for over 30 minutes several times, etc. But hey, it's cool, they had problems, it's their first big tournament and that was the first day, and it's not like we've forgotten about ol' IPL/MLG/NASL etc.. but at least these guys were quick to respond even if it was just one-liners on Twitter, Facebook, or even in the respective TL thread. Anyway, technical issues aside:

Yup, you can.
When IdrA ladders all the Koreans message IdrA to try to practice against him. When Stephano ladders all the Marsians message Stephano to try to practice against him. When Martin Luther King ladders all the Pokemon ambush Martin Luther King to try to practice against him.
Where did you get this information about Sen's messages and demand for his play on Korean ladder? He's not known for streaming a ton, and he keeps himself to himself most of the time.

Sen is from Taiwan, Taiwan is part of the Korean server.

??? I didn't mean that Sen doesn't ladder on the Korean ladder - if it said that, I wasn't clear enough, sorry. It was intended to mean that anybody can make up crap about players doing X on Y server, but without evidence it doesn't mean all that much.

Again, that isn't what I meant. I'm fully aware that TW and KR servers are merged, and that Sen ladders on Korea ladder (as do all good pros), but I meant that the person I quoted came out with "whenever Sen ladders all the Koreans message Sen to try to practice against him", and I'd never heard that before.

He's such a baller though. So much LAN experience it's ridiculous, and he's got such amazing stamina too. He's played some fucking loooooooooong War3 games in the past. I forget which map it was, but there was that game against Infi that lasted 80 minutes and ended in a draw.

That is the most shadiest thing. That's really fucked up. Pushing aside a player who really deserved the spot only to be replaced by a player who is tournament organizer/team manager's latest Korean recruit. Come on now. IPL better lay down the law and make it up to YoonYJ!

I just wanted to remind people that if anyone is waiting for an explanation about the situation regarding YoonYJ, it's currently 6:10am here in lovely Manila, so I'd wait until a later hour. I hope this all gets sorted out peacefully...

It is a good thing that IPL decided to take control of this situation. If the qualifers are poorly run, it reflects very poorly on the whole tournament. Hopefully, (and I think probably) the UK qualifiers will be much better run.
