Hi, I'm looking for some decent experienced players that want to join my village. I have been hermitting for a while and now that I've build up, I'm looking for some more players to join me. I would probably want around 3 to 5 people in my village depending on activity.
What you can expect from the village :
- Protection within a palisade, hoping to get brick wall in a month. You'll have access to gates with an account thats solely used for opening gates.
- 1 Timber house & 1 Stone mansion (full of empty cupboards), working on the 2nd stone mansion atm.
- Access to all kind of metal tools like metal plow/scythe/pickaxe/meat grinder and much more (metal Q around 35 atm)
- Q70 clay kiln/oven/ore smelter/... (the clay location i'm keeping secret atm)
- Q45 soil + all seeds, most are around 40Q atm
- Q50 water (still exploring for higher Q, should be easy to find, I have been unlucky with that)
- Q15 giant iron cave, with a tin mine below, that I'll soon make.
- Lot's of good FEP food, I'm a 80+ cook
- a barely touched forest (like to keep it that way  )
What I expect of you :
- You can choose any job you want, you dont really have to specialize in something. Just have fun with it
-You know how the game works, how quality formulas work and most importantly know how to work with the wiki for all the questions you have. I wouldnt like someone who's constantly asking stuff that you can just find in the wiki.
- You are a friendly person, and will always be friendly towards other players you meet in the game. We will not be raiders/thiefs, I'd rather be rangers and help out people that that are having trouble with raiders.
- Atm I dont want any more houses build, you should be using the stone mansion or timber house. The palisade is only 2 minimaps big and there's no real room for more houses atm. We will expand later and then you will be able to start building a house if you want one.

Hi Talho! I'd like to join your village eventually =D but I'm not an _experienced_ player yet, haha.
I just started yesterday... because the mention in ponytales3 had me salivating. But no one is in #Liquidia anymore? Anyway, it seems that there are things that nub characters can do, like organizing and carrying things around, so I wouldn't be completely useless, right?

I'd do any job. haha. I just don't want to be alone in the world anymore!!! I've wandered far and wide (I played 14 hours yesterday -_- ) and encountered a lot of claims, most of which seem pretty abandoned. Some had flourishing farms. But I've only encountered one player in the world so far, so I feel very lonely in the wilderness.
Right now I'm building a small log cabin for no good reason, tanning rabbit furs to make a sling, and collecting string to make a rope to make a well. I've caught and cooked a bunch of fish so far. I think I would love to farm, and do some beastmaster stuff.
There doesn't seem to be one place for TL members anymore (have all the members of Liquidia stopped playing?) so if any other players want to gather up, let me know.
This game feels a little dangerous to RL because I get to be as simultaneously OCD (about arranging my little claim) and ADD (building 381792487 different things at once) as I want. I was surprised about the depth of the combat system in particular, so there seems like there's plenty to do!

Hey, I think you probably should explore the game a bit more before you join us . You should start working towards a job 2. You can do what you want, but an extra farmer or hunter/forager would be nice. I can provide you with a decent sling.
Yes liquidia & sereville is pretty much dead. Dont think anyone is still active in it. I think the only people still playing are hermitters. Or people who migrated to bigger city's
We're still in need of a few experienced people. Read 5 or 6 posts back to check the requirements.
The village itself is coming along nicely, Q50 trees almost done =)

Still looking for some players, Happy to have some less experienced players now. Since we got a bit of work to do that everyone/"noobs" can do.
Like : Need a lot of rope, probably gonna expand the palisade tomorrow (good lp!), need a lot more Large Chests made, 2nd Stone mansion needs to be finished (also very good lp), maybe some grass planted. In general lots of work anyone can do
Be sure to read the requirements, but drop the experience stuff. Just dont quit after a few days

Talho my buddy and I just got into the game. He loved old UO and introduced him to this and he loves it so far. Mostly we just looking for someone to give a little guidance and protection until we get on our feet and are able to really contribute.

I have been playing Sim City with like 5 people from my RL community (that's why I didn't just up and join Talho... I was stupid and didn't start by him, and then I got an RL friend to play, who got his RL friend to play, who got his brother to play.... etc.... so although I was the first one, I couldn't really move all of us, since I'm not the dictator, and we were each autonomously sort of making our own little farms at our random spawn already... also I am the only TL person so I felt al ittle awkward)...
Anyway. We were living only peacefully, being total noobs, and are getting griefed now. There's 1 noob neighbor to the west of us named OldGregg. He was actually the first stranger I met ingame, on my first day of playing. He was very friendly to us for one week and five days, and then last night he randomly came into our village to punch everyone down (only unconscious... we think he is too noob to have bought Murder lol), and destroy everything.

My naked body is on the path; he is destroying a beehive on the east side of the picture, and calling me bad names. lol
He has no reason to grief us; he was very friendly to us in our very limited interactions with him before yesterday. He must be bored and sad IRL for him to come to us in the game and call me a whore and destroy my stuff for no reason, lol. And play stupid mind games, like punching neighbors and saying that I hired him to do it.
It's sad, and we've learned a lesson--don't trust anyone. I only talked to him twice, each time for less than 1 minute, and I had accepted his kin invite on the second time (I gave him no permissions, though; at least I knew to do that).
I've met a few other strangers in the game that I do trust, because we have talked a lot. There's one girl who plays with her sister and another guy that's soloing near us, and they are completely peaceful and have been very helpful.
Games like this a really interesting, because griefers can do so much. We were building our palisade, but didn't do it fast enough; now we know that even if we want to live peacefully, it is of paramount importance to protect yourself first.
Had we a brawler, we could have punched him down and been rid of him easily. I have Brawling, and I had a bear cape, but I didn't have "punch" on my hot bar (and I'm playing on my mac, not my desktop pc right now, and the hotkeys + switching between hotkey bars aren't working right now for some reason - Gilbertus client) .... anyway we were stupid noobs and probably have to start over.
To be fair, I had only been playing the game for 1 week and 5 days, and my RL friends had been playing for about 1 week. lol.
So... the only hope for noobs is to seek protection from more powerful people, I think. lol.

Where do you guys happen to live? If it is necessary I can go and hunt him down. We should set up trade connections too, so you can better defend yourselves, etc.
You could not have fought back against him, primarily because to even initiate combat with another player you need the skill "rage" which costs 30k LP. To kill them you need MURDER (100k LP)
Usually players in H&H are nice and kind to you. I don't know why someone would randomly decide to PMS and hack and slash your stuff into oblivion, but I guess stuff like this happens. Palisades are definitely first priority when starting a village, because otherwise you may be unlucky and get your stuff broken, or even murdered.

I played a chunk of Hearth and Haven (enough to get a good crop of a bunch of things growing, and some beer to drink) but i found it lacking in anyone to talk to, any community to make it worth specializing. So i quit. i could just ladder anyways, but if you have any will to let me around what i'll do is walk far far away and set up camp somewhere on my own and come to town to sit around and hope to trade good/crops/fish for cropseed/tools/weapons and i will train up a bad ass hunter/brawler/ranger full of fighting. i'm not playing again to farm all the time, i have a real job. my goal is to make hirdsman and be summoned to help out someone in a fight with no idea what's going on. if that happened and i could thump somebody/thing and yell that day(9) made me do it i'd be happy
