Such a huge player surely must have another team ready before leaving statale.
Really excited to see where he ends up.

It's not like he's going to move out of korea permanently, but being on a foreign team will increase his international exposure. Being on a foreign team does not barre you from playing in GSL or proleague, but it definitely opens the window to more opportunities. He's a star, good for him.

I don't agree with this. That is the theory, yet the most famous Koreans are the ones on Korean teams. HerO and Taeja are the only exceptions. Every other Korean that joined a Foreign team for the fast cash has either been forgotten, got worse and now can't compete, or has retired. I don't want the same fate for Parting. I hope he joins a Kespa team, that would be a cool surprise.

Exactly. With the exception of Liquid's two aces, keeping new acquisitions in foreign teamhouses (in KR or otherwise) has failed to even approach the results that come from a true KR teamhouse.

Why would you leave Startale? It cant get any better skillwise and he earned a lot from tournaments. Weird. But still good luck to him!

Violet got really good after he joined a foreign team and even moved out of Korea. Jaedong has certainly not been forgotten and as you say, both Hero and Taeja became the players they are on Teamliquid.

Most Koreans who are mostly forgotten who joined foreign teams where already on their way down when they joined, which would not be the case with Parting. The only exception to this is Puma, but then again he was really good over a year ago (after he joined EG).

parting is winning because of the immortal all in. a new game is coming out in 2 months. if you think parting is going to be as dominant in 2013 as he was in 2012, you are mistaken. especially if he joins a foreign team

Quite clearly must be about to join a foreign team, no way would he leave probably one of the most stable korean teams for no other reason.

Hope it is announced soon

I really don't think he will, but you can't say that he's currently on a decline. I also don't think moving from Startale to a foreigner team would be a good choice, skill wise.

so his excellent space control and top notch battle micro are just about to disipate with HotS? I don't think so. In addition, this is his PvZ build, he is also quite good in the other match ups

anyhoo, I have this "Go Liquid"-voice in my head, yet I think it'll be a KeSPA team in the end.

Don't think TeamLiquid can afford Parting. Just hope he doesn't go to the black hole that is EG.

I don't see eg or liquid being in the picture. I feel like this has kespa written all over it. And if a high kespa team really wanted PartinG and threw money around, EG wouldn't have a chance.

using a strategy to win a matchup that is otherwise unwinnable, dont blame him for it. he has already proven to have great control and decision making (such as his games vs MKP earlier in 2012), and has been consistently one of the best P's for the whole year, even before he utilized the all in.

Would be neat to see him on a KeSPA team. I don't really want him on a foreign team, I don't think that's what's best for him atm.

Well, this really depends on how exactly the KeSPA/eSF agreement was worded. Does it only bound the players that are under contract? Or does it go for players no longer on contract as well?

Everytime I see a Korean leave a team saying he wants "experience much more" I feel they are referring to be able to travel more to international events. So either a foreign team or some kind of a arrangement that MC have.
