It starts with the fact that in 1776 America won freedom from European domination by allying itself with another part of Europe. This plays up the fact that most Americans have no idea about history or geography and the parody of that.

Then the next joke double downs on that parody with mistaking Leif Eriksson for an Englishman and marrying that to a holiday about getting food from Native Americans and slaughtering them afterwards.

The third joke compounds that three fold at the ridiculous imagery of Benjamin Franklin and Qianlong playing a game invented 150 years after their death, thus securing China's aide in a battle that happened 10 years before Beer pong was invented. And China wasn't even in the battle.

This joke is so complex and funny in so many ways, I almost feel like I should write an analysis of it.

How so? Seems pretty straightforward to me. And by all means, please do.

I thought you were just talking about the last one lol. My joke about Leif Eriksson was actually in reference to Snute and the Thanksgiving part was just thrown in as a joke about messing up the history.

Why even walk over there if you're not going to check the obvious proxy location? No one's going to throw it out in the open, it's going to be behind the minerals!

EDIT: Oh, please let this fail.
