seriously during the 2nd to last team fight when i was baiting you guys bottom, i made my team just sit at a bush for a whole minute waiting for you guys. i felt so stupid until radjacob started trying to kill me and got out of position. that was the greatest feeling of relief i felt in a single game of LoL. if you guys didn't fall for it i would have just wasted so much time for my team.

lol that was funny. it made pushing a lot easier since both games we seemed to have a hard time pushing without dying

Thanks to everyone for showing up. It was really fun! Everyone played carefully and strategically, so the games were longer than normal (30-45 minutes).
Great turnout, we had about 40 people in TL channel at one point and 26 in the tourney channel. I'm sorry if you didn't get picked initially for the teams... You just need to level up a bit, as runes/masteries goes a long way when the game is close.
Hopefully we can do another tourney next weekend... Any feedback on the tourney style, suggestions, are welcome!!

Great tourney, lots of fun. Only problem was that I can't talk on vent while on LoL so that made things difficult

I've been playing a lot recently with friends. It's fun since its new I guess. Until I gave LoL a shot, I always tooled on the players. I take it all back!
I dunno what hero to buy!! haha

Im finding morgana to be a lotsof fun, but i dont find many people that use her. If anyone has some experience with her feel free to PM me any tips or tricks you find.

I'll post my experiences here for everybody.
She's my main caster.

Anyway, I find her mana hungry, so I get a Chalice asap, instead of clarity [I've got Mana Regen Runes, which I feel are enough]. Then I usually go boots then RoA, or mejai's if you're rocking. Then I find Glacial shroud really nice because of the Mana and CD Reduction. Then more AP, depending on the Team Comp. Abyssal is nice, so is deathfire's.
I run Tele/Ignite on her, and I play solely on SR. I get stun first, then two levels of soil. Black shield at level 4 is nice, because of the relatively low cost. Then soil again, before getting the ult. I now start maxing stun, unless the minions aren't dying in one soil. Get Ult at 11 and 16 like always.
Use your stun for checking brush. All. The. Time. Use it to initiate ganks too.
Blackshield people fleeing. Blackshield people channeling. Blackshield people about to get stunned or slow moving projectiles. [Other Dark Bindings, Kassadin's Silence, etc.] It also stops some intiation cold, like Singed's fling.
Make sure your tormented soil hits the sweetspot of both melee and caster minions.
Remember your DoT from soil and/or binding constantly aggros towers.
Use your ult at the beginning of team fights.
Stun can go through walls
Binding then immediate soil is your 1-2 combo.
Blackshield the carry in the beginning of team fights. It just doesn't prevent spell effects, it also absorbs magic damage.
That's all I can think of for now.

Most important tip is to hope the other team doesn't have cleanse.
4 cleanse vs Morgana = fail.

Oddly, I don't recall this at all -- I'm pretty sure that every time there was a teamfight, we expected a teamfight.
That said, you won most (all?) of the teamfights, so...

Actually, it was more like Rad was just slightly beyond his turret, and we dove the hell out of it with 5 man, because we knew at least 2 were on bottom at the time.
The game was close at early mid game, we lost a crucial team fight about 15 min in, but then we started snowballing after that.
Too bad Rad can't comment, temp ban and all LOL.
