I didn't play cause I'm too good for you guys and didn't want to break the tourney for everyone, lol. I mean, I'd just feel so bad about cutting LoL careers short by making people quit after getting raped by my pantheon.
seriously though, I'm just usually busy with non-vidjo games on weekends. seeing my family this weekend, going to jamaica for the next two... And when I am gaming for weekends, it's usually smash tournaments and then I'll LoL afterwards.
whoever asked for some solo mid 1v1s though, just PM SmashGizmo the next time you see me on and I'll solo mid 1v1 with Pantheon whenever. I'd love to see someone expose some weaknesses in my solomid game because I've just been abusive at it recently and I don't feel like I'm getting any better any more.

Solo mid is one matchup where I'd feel pretty good with Fiddle vs. Pantheon. Are there any champs you consider a hard counter?

My only complaint is that blind pick is really silly

pantheon vs. fiddle hasn't actually come up for me, we should play it out sometime. In theorycrafting, I actually think pantheon would just win the war of attrition vs. Fiddle because he's doing better harass with less mana, but Fiddle should be good about not just dying to his burst at level 3 with double disable. Then again, I thought that's what sivir would be like too, but in action, she's just fucked because you just get too close for her to see your jump coming in time to shield it and she's dead.
as for hard counters, I'm still yet to feel helpless vs. anyone. I think the worst matchups are Karthus and Katarina and maybe Heimer (hasn't come up in awhile). Against all of them, I think you can still compete just fine with a red elixir, but I think those and the mirror match are the only ones that really require it. The common ones like Ashe, Ez, and Annie all feel really easy to win with boots.
EDIT: forgot to mention, Janna's pretty tough. red elixir makes it a lot easier, but I'm still 100% convinced I can win it with boots if I don't fuck up.

Fortitude Pantheon is a pretty hard-counter to him when he opens Boots first expecting an Ashe.

well, he was too far back as of that fb. he only managed to stay relevant for the next 10 minutes by pumping elixirs, but this left him with like, SotO (or some other mid level AD item, can't remember which exactly) + boots when I had SotO, boots, Brutalizer and BF Sword. I dunno, that DK didn't get him back in the game IMO cause he channeled so much money into the temporary means to make it possible. his item build was still really far behind mine after it, even if he was 2-1 to my 1-1 at that one moment in time (I was up a long sword and boots at that point).

Actually no, that's how a lot of the games go when I 5 man premade with good players. You don't know the team comp or the lane matchups so how can you say he's playing with idiots?

I don't like to mid with Fiddle, because he's so vulnerable to so many heros. That said, he should be pretty solid against melee bursters (Panth, Kat) in theory, since he can throw a fear on them, then drain as they slowly run away.
Sivir hates melee bursters. Jump/shunpo are way too fast to shield, and she just gets pushed out of lane. She likes AP harassers -- Karthus is a special favorite, as lay waste can be shielded, he has trouble dodging BB, and his ult can be shielded as well. Plus, Sivir wins the 1v1 auto-attack fight with him.
Heimer is an incredible pain mid unless you outrange his turrets, and then he's cake. Neither of my mains outrange his turrets. I actually think Heimer is far more playable in a drafted game, since you can last-pick him against teams with no counter, then push ultra hard and roll them. In blind pick, though, he's kinda garbage, because you'll see Tristanas, Mordes, and other counters too often.

Wow so many server problems can't even log in. Before I logged out no one in liquidparty was in game and I couldn't start one (que's were too long).
Is the server down for any one?

Just to be clear, our (RadJacob's) team chose champions before the stream was up, and I made sure everyone turned it off (not even on in the background) before game.
