Can I know why these are not "authorized"? I just felt that it would convey in a much better way my feelings. (Is it because you can get swarmed with images? "Image macros" tend to be stupid? TL hates memes?) | ||

TL hates memes?) Again, this is better suited for website feedback than this thread, but an image macro is an image (like you posted) that has large captions added to it. Partly it is because if we had no policy every 5th post would include a large image and reading threads would become jarring. Memes, image macros, etc. are just annoying and any comedic effect they may have is outweighed by the negative things that come with them. If someone photoshops up an original and funny image related to starcraft it will occasionally fly on the forums, but most of the time that type of stuff won't. | ||
