If this was Player1 vs Player2 we would still be poking fun at the horrible play. Has nothing to do with the individual the issue is every mlg its always focused on incontrol. why dont people shit on the other people who are doing horribly? hell, even mc is doing a pretty shitty job this mlg, but where is his hate?
Wtf? you just compared MC to Incontrol in terms of achievements? :D well played sir

Uhh, are you sure about that? Incontrol is 36% winrate overall in TLPD this year, TLO is 51% and is far more active in high grandmaster, with most of his games being in higher profile tournaments

Thats not hating, thats the cold hard truth.
If you read some of the comments in this thread and in IRC, they aren't remotely appopriate.
It's fine for people to be disappointed, but the level of hatred for Incontrol is just sad.

I'm sorry, but when the open bracket has players like white ra who has to meet someone as amazing as stephano early on, followed by him meeting someone as amazing as theStC in the very next round, I feel like I'm being robbed by the pool play having some seriously poor quality players(And please don't call this hating, because anyone who's watched any of his recent MLG games can tell you he has performed EXTREMELY poorly for a while now.) getting high spots and a much more relaxed schedule, while far better players meet eachother so early in the tournament they have almost no opportunity to make it through.
MLG should just drop another spot per pool, and open that up for invites that aren't necessarily korean. Players like White-ra, Stephano, demuslim, etc could get those spot.
No, I'm not angry at incontrol, I just see much more potential in this event and I wish MLG would be faster in bringing about very needed changes. this

I don't know what MarineKing is doing.

Going stargate in PvP doesn't seem to help you at all. Hero barely won when he went stargate, but that was because Huk did about the worse build possible against it, and almost all other stargates I see end in failure.

They know it's a problem as much as anyone else, but you can't just go and make major changes to tournament rules half way through. It'll be fixed for next year.

No, cause all those three players have at least won one series in the past 4 mlgs. But incontrol beat drewbie in the championship bracket last mlg...

Last MLG he beat I think Moonglade before losing to Machine in the following round. But yeah he's on a really bad slump unfortunately If he practices as much as he says, it just means hes not cut out to make it at the very top tier of MLG. Don't think its a slump. No hate, just saying it as it is. Nah I think you underestimate the impact of slumping and pressure at the pro level. He's probably constantly obsessed about losing because he's very aware that he's performing terribly and it's not helping, chances are with a big few wins and a confidence boost he would play alot better. Just look at MC going from world class to mid tier just because of a few consecutive losses, he didn't randomly lose skill he's just not in the right mindset/confidence level. Actually the prime example of this is Idra based on how his skill level fluctuates based on his confidence and his emotions. Any way just trying to say Incontrol isnt as bad as his record suggests just in a really bad period. Going from world class player to code B is slumping. Being an average player and always player like a below-average to average player is not slumping, it is just being average. I'll agree with the previous poster in that I believe Incontrol needs to change his race or seriously refocus his game if he ever wants to become a top NA player.
For as big of a guy as InControl is, I think he actually is locking up after about 2 matches into MLG. He might actually be on worse tilt than Idra gets. I have watched his stream some, and his decision making seems incredibly worse at MLG.
