I think 6 hours is a fair assessment for one playthrough. I played about a third of the original Cave Story, so I may have been able to complete that section faster than someone who hadn't, but I have six hours played according to Steam. After beating the game, I realized that there is a lot more I could do on a second playthrough but I haven't got around to it yet as I have many other games to play first. It's a fun game with good presentation that also requires some thought.

I just bought deus ex: hr some days ago at the same price as it is right now (75% off). If someone doesn't have it yet, buy it coz it's awesome :D
And I think I might catch Civ IV or III if they get 75% off.

Both FOTS and ROTS are really good. Fall is really, really good, it's completely different from vanilla Shogun 2. Rise is fun too but mostly because of the influence system, the units are very similar to those of Shogun 2

I would instead of those purchase Rome, but if you have that wait until Napoleon is on sale and purchase THAT, but if you insist on one of those 3 i would get Shogun, because Empire is really boring and the artillery and cavalry arent fun to use at all, and Medieval 2 feels very much like Rome but without the "fun" factor

I already bought Rome a long time ago, so I'm mostly looking at the newer Total War games. Napoleon does seem to be on sale at $12, but I might wait until the last day before buying it to see if the price falls any lower.
