Another thing is that are we too readily to blame Masq for the kill? The evidence is quite obvious but it could be too obvious sometimes. We need to be a little bit more careful about voting.

In all seriousness, I have some theory I'd like to present to the table. The win condition is not "kill every member of the other teams".
Town win condition: :At least 8 vampires and mafia are killed AND the town outnumbers the surviving members.
Mafia win condition: All vampires are dead.
Vampire win condition: All mafia are dead.
Now, to all the newbies out there, it is not in our interests, at all, to prevent one of the other team's win condition. We are only focusing on our own win condition, whether or not another team achieves a win does not matter. It is entirely possibly that 2 teams (town/mafia, town/vampire) can achieve their win conditions. As such, later in the game, it might become plausible and beneficial for one of the scum teams to side with town. Obviously a town circle will emerge and using blue information, it may be in our favour to enlist the help of one of the scum teams.
Do we have to do it? No. Will it be beneficial? Who knows. Will it be fun? Yes.

Mafia know who other mafia are and vampires know who the other vampires are. Town are the only faction that don't know the identity of other members in their faction.
