got a couple of issues with getting the streams to run properly, for some reason camtasia 4 does not take over the Techsmith Live Capture codec like it did on my desktop. that MIGHT be the reason why the colors dont get fixed, but im not sure. Also I'm worried about overheating the laptop when I play sc and stream at the same time. for now I will just be doing tests on my channel so probably not worth watching. When I can actually play games I will post it here. | ||

No, this is surely not a codec issue, the colors were fine in the SC Menu, and got broken once you entered the game, the problem is that whatever you did to fix the colors previously (stop+start camtasia recording or something of the likes?) is not taking (the desired) effect. The codec doesn't know or care if you just started a game, if it were the codecs fault the colors would be broken from the start and not magically when you enter the game. If you played starcraft on your laptop before, I would say you are pretty safe. Adding the streaming in should not make a noticable difference on the heat your laptop produces (unless you are using cpu savior with starcraft, but I think everybody turned that off when the option to turn it off was added in 1.16.1?). This is because starcraft without CPU savior enabled will eat 100% cpu constantly anyways, so the stream will not be able to increase the load of that. In any case, just play and check how hot it gets... | ||

Just as a suggestion to fix the colors, you could try VH Screen Capture instead of Camtasia. http://www.hmelyoff.com/index.php?section=4 I've always found it to be more reliable than Camtasia. | ||
