One of the games ret played yesterday he was playing TvZ and was on the 3 o clock position. He made a wall in exactly like the one Fantasy did in the 5th game of the OSL finals. The opponent came with 6 lings and ret held off his first attack with repairing scvs. Then Ret pulled all his scvs back because he had a few marines and he placed one marine in the bottom spot under the barracks. The zerglings ran up to his marine and killed it and Ret left the game in frustration, thinking that the zerglings could run through the wall.

I was confused as to why the zerglings would get through as I've seen that ling tight wall in repel ling runby before. I discussed it with some of the viewers and we came to the conclusion that sure the wall had to be placed wrong because there is no way zerglings could hit a marine behind the wall but not run in right? WRONG. Watch the 5th game of the OSL finals and you'll notice how jaedong kills one marine in the exact same spot rets marine was killed but he still can't run in so he needs to kill a depot.

This means that there is a spot on medusa where zerglings can hit a marine but they can't run through. It also means ret would probably have won that game >< but understandably he reacted like the wall was faulty. This might be widely known about by top players allready, I don't know. But I thought I would share it with the rest of you guys.
