Hi everyone! This stream will feature live games from White-Ra. White-Ra's commentating in Russian and in English. While playing he usually explains his thought process, gives advice, tips etc. Regular schedule has been scrapped for the moment, Ra will be streaming when possible, most likely during evenings on EU Time.. Although I have to say one thing, if somebody reads this, maybe you can bring it to his attention? I have the feeling it is sometimes really difficult for him to express himself properly and he tries hard to find the correct words and explain everything. While this is 100% appreciated, I - and I'm sure everyone here - would have NO problem if he talks a bit less in English if this turned out to be too stressful/exhausting. Although talking in English is cool, I would be sad to see him lose games just because he was focussing on speaking English properly instead of being 100% concentrated on the actual game! | ||

Most people stream and answer a few questions here and there for formalities' sake. WhiteRa even answers basic questions like what to do against 1-Base Roach or 2-base Mutalisk. I mean that just shows how nice this guy is. Plus his talks during the game give amazing insight into how he thinks and any player can develop basic hints at what do. Like for example, saying that you can plant a pylon to delay zerg's hatch if he gets only 1 set of lings but it is not good to do if he gets 2 sets. Very few players I can think of give that kind of advice when streaming. Amazing player and person. Anybody who doesn't like him can go to hell for all I care. | ||

I've noticed though that some questions are frequently repeated (what mouse/keyboard he uses, where you can get replays and so on...), so maybe he or his mods should make a FAQ that you can read in the stream description. Also, someone needs to tell White-Ra about sc2gears so that his replay saving routine becomes easier. I think he would like it. | ||

I learned this playing with a friend who chatted, literally, the whole game. About Starcraft, real life stuff, religion... whatever. He was phenomenal, and even though it made my play worse in that game- my overall game got better as I learned to think about more as I played. tl:dr... Don't stop streaming for us! I am Silver and I learn so much simple stuff from WhiteRa's stream. Sure, most of you guys already know it but when you are trying to come to grip with the game, a stream like this is exactly what you need. He tells you exactly what is going on in his mind which is the same thing that should be going on in your mind when you are in the same scenario he is in. That is just amazing in my opinion. Also, most people say they interact with fans but don't do it enough, if at all. WhiteRa's rapport with the chat is amazing. His patience in answering every question even repeatedly should be admired. And when somebody requests some tactics, he actually does that. And he simply doesn't do it but actually has a thought process behind it. If it fails (like the Collossus drop against Zerg), he explains why it failed and how you can make it succeed. This is definitely the best stream on TL no doubt - It is highly entertaining with special taktiks. It is funny. And most of all it is helpful from Bronze up to Grandmaster. Thank You WhiteRa! | ||

Second question is, what do you think with opening on 1 gate proxy on 2/3 player maps to "control" the game? I mean so you know they won't be able to cheese you, what is your opinions on this? It is a small piece of video that you can use (With Xsplit & other programms) when you go and speak to the phone or leave the pc for a couple of minutes. You can add the clip to a different scene and then through the user settings attach a certain hotkey to that scene. Then every time you push that hotkey the video (8 seconds long) will appear ! It has a photo of you , your nickname ,your sponsor and your <<Famous phrase>> ! Seeing how much people ask same questions again and again in chat I thought it would be a good idea to make some small FAQ that could be linked on his stream page or something? At least it would give mods good reason to time-out people who ask the same freaking thing for billion times. I could start with questions like What mouse/keyboard white-ra uses? It seems he hasn't been streaming for that long, does anyone know if he has somewhat 'regular hours' for streaming? Even if they aren't too regular, just some ballpark time he likes to stream at? Had a hard time figuring out when he streams, not made any easier by timezone difference! When he finished streaming last time I checked it was aparently 4:30am in Ukraine so I'm guessing he either isn't in Ukraine atm or the time converter was dodgy. No he was in Ukraine streaming till that late;) From what I know there aren't regular hours atm, but he said he will usually stream during evenings, starting around 8pm CET, not sure about which days, so I'm assuming that roughly, streams will probably start between 1pm - 4pm Central US. There is an 8 hour difference between Central US time and Odessa, Ukraine, so its 9pm - 12pm there.. Edit - just realized you are not under US timezone:l... u can use 8pm Central European Time to get approximate times (though often he started streams a bit later into the evening) | ||

I know people say Gold level players cannot learn a lot from watching the Pros stream. But WhiteRa's strategies are really easy to latch on to and the way he explains them makes them seem so clear. I personally have learnt a lot from his stream. I would be in game and suddenly a bulb will pop in my head that WhiteRa will do this right now, so I better do it. IMO, anybody can learn a lot of stuff by just watching him stream and commentate. Some stuff like gas timings, how to spot a rush or that sort, he just explains them so clearly, that even at my level I find it really helpful. | ||
