Regular streamers cannot use /commercial and neither can "producers". I think it is a partner thing, similar to youtube. If you or i put a video on youtube we will get no money from add revenue, while HD or HUSKY get a share of it. probably invited to be a partner if you are able to consistently have a high viewer count. Also Justin.tv has reached out to gamers in the past and I think did contact quite a few people to switch over to their streaming service, when they did this they probably offered the ability to play commercials on their own time(IE in between games).

That being said, I definitely don't mind supporting Idra's stream by watching ads.

I decided to figure just for the absolute best case scenario as I've been told its $1 per 500 viewers. It's pretty insane even if half of those viewers had ad block ( i realize it's probably higher ~_~) he runs his ad after each game, given a high average game time of 15m, that's 36/hr (69k/year). Such nice money just for practicing the game lol.

I mean I'm not saying he's really that innocent, but seriously guys get off his case. I'd be pretty pissed too if 8,000 people were feeding off my anger. Oh, and for the record, that guy he just played said "sorry i'm not a nerd i don't play 24/7" So he wasn't exactly well mannered either ![]()
