Hey all!
My name is Danny 'huSKy' Engels and I'm actually a sim-racing pro gamer for SK Gaming. First of all I instantly gotta say that I did not try to copy the famous SC2 commentator Husky. It has been my nickname since ages even though I started with the name HuskyGoalie (as I used to be a hockey goalie for our local club 'Trierer Huskys') it just developed into huSKy at some point.
Anyways I'm really into Starcraft 2 at the moment and want to stream some ladder games and probably even cast when friends of mine are playing. I'm currently a Diamond Random player and still learning a lot. I have more talent in racing games though and therefore you will probably see a lot different things in my stream. Be prepared for some random gaming stuff besides Starcraft 2!

I imagine the Husky thing is going to be the cause of some confusion around here, but good luck with your stream. I'll definitely check it out (especially as I plan a switch to Terran soon =p).

Lol,
Yesterday or the day before someone came up with the ID PsY, just like the caster PsY, basically everyone told him to change. I don't think it will be a different story with yours. But I'm also going to take a look or two.
Have fun streaming, it's a hard business though

Its stupid that you guys are even asking him to change his name just because someone else has the name in the community. It may confuse people at first, but that is no big problem at all.
Good luck with your stream, and I hope this stupid name thing doesn't become a big deal.

I really appreciate your posts. Never thought that so many people would notice my thread. =D
I know what you guys mean, but in the end I'm still known as SK Gaming's Husky. It's especially a name to remember in the racing / esports community after winning a $100.000 car in the Intel Racing Tour Final (Oh, that's actually the event you can see in the autopilot thing at the moment).
Nevertheless I also know that it might confuse people a bit, but I think you guys are smart enough to promptly notice that there is a different Husky even named as HuskyGoalie streaming.
I just wanna have fun in Starcraft and don't mess around with nicknames

Hm, well, I just found your Stream...clicked on it because I thought Husky was streaming.
Then I was mad for like 2 minutes, because Husky is awesome!
But then I see you playing random in a Tourney, and you got some style man.
So I went and read your explanation why you stick with the name, and I think its ok if you stay HuskyGoalie, and your stream rocks.
Bumbing this, people should defnitly check this one out!
