Beautiful football has to prevail. To me Italy symbolizes everything that's wrong with football these days, not to mention they have to pay for inventing the ever ugly 'Catenaccio' more accurately described in my opinion as 'anti-football'. Germany and beautiful football cannot go in the same sentence. EVER. Say strength, effectiveness, whatever. But Germany's football has never been beautiful and it's not now either. Never say never the teams from 1974 and 1990 wanna have a talk with u 2010. You dont need to get the title to play beautiful football. As was shown yesterday, spain-portugal was so painful to watch that i rather played LoL instead.
We know all about it beautiful football and no prizes...

Italy and Spain won't win. There football is the most boring ever!

pirlo is so good im a little scared for our boys

I'll take winning ugly over losing beautifully every single time. What fan of Germany, Italy, or Spain would deny that much? Let's root hard for victory, and if beauty just so happens to be produced as a side-effect, all the better!

Well Mr. Spaniard, in your not so humble opinion that might be the case. I know lots of people including myself who disagree. What I also know is that to many people Spain's so called 'beautiful' play is in fact not beautiful at all. It's disgusting to see 10 people pass the ball to each other for 90 minutes without ANY drive towards the goal. And that's also what's going to cost Spain a game eventually imho. It was already close against Italy and Portugal. As you can see, people have different opinions and different understandings of what is beautiful and what isn't. You might just have to accept that at some point in your life.
I've never said what Spain is playing right now is beautiful football. But what Spain has been playing last 4 years, is IMO way more beautiful than what Germany has been playing, including this Euro.
Not that strong opinion I think.
Is fine that you don't like Spain's football, I prefer to have a reliable way to consistently win matches, not recieving goals and driving the way a match develops than just running forward and winning 23-20. From a casual spectator point of view, ofc you prefer the second, but I enjoy watching Spain treating teams as puppets (not everyday but most days).
It's good we have different tastes, otherwise it would be too boring.

Boring = won't win.
Fuck logic (not to say that what you consider boring is considered by many people as the opposite. For instance Italy has played better games than Germany this Euro)

While I'd agree with you, it seems that Spain's style has become significantly more boring compared to that of Luis Aragonés. It is still very effective and requires plenty of skill, but it seems to have become quite sterile... which is a pity since the players spain has have so much potential.

No. You need to mark your sarcasm or some retards will believe it.

Could you plz troll in another thread ? This thread is about GERMANY VS ITALY !!! not spain -_- . You have your own oppinion good.... but don't go talking down other teams in their own thread and stirr up people against each other. You can discuss about Spain's beautiful Fußball, which the world has never seen before and will never see again, in your own spain thread. but not here plz....
can my dear fellow germans plz stop calling it "soccer" like american idiots do? thank you
fixed

and mr. spaniard, if you say germany never played beautiful football, then u probably didnt watch the world cup 2010....maybe you should go back talking about basketball or something else !
Anyway.... this will be a tough one today, Italy really surprised me during the tournament. Their style of play is really refreshing, especially with prilo having his second spring of his life :D BUT, i think we still can win, since the only team capable of stopping us is still Spain ! 2:0 Germany
SCHLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well many people hate on germany cause they are used to do so. Cause germany was always an uninventive, boring team, something like italy but with less flair and genious spark. But in the last years they play differently and are quite fun to watch.

Italy plays the worst football in this EURO, only Ireland played worse. The play like wer ein the 1980th - just terrible!

Going to be a close match, hope we can break that defense and get Pirlo as uninvolved with the game as possible.

Germany all the way. They know how to play exciting football unlike Italy, Portugal and Spain.
