Yea hes been using him as a sub in important games because it forces the defense to make adjustments which is not very easy when your an hour into the game. All of a sudden theres a guy running off your shoulder every possession mistakes will probably happen and there will be some channels to run into as France starts going after the game a bit more.

France has a very talented team also, I don't think they need to park the bus at all.
People overrate the Spanish attack. It's not particularly potent. Their strength is in midfield and retaining and recovering possession. Its erroneous to put on extra defenders versus Spain. What you need to do is have the personnel on the field to make the most of the limited opportunities you will get. In this case, players like Nasri or Menez would would be much better in this game.
