I've still not been overly impressed by Tyler, but I'll probably back him since it's a PvT and regardless of Thorzain apparently liking it, toss players have really got a lot of things figured out very nicely of late. Couple that with Tyler excelling in matches he can prepare for and I think he'll have what it takes, even if the amount of source material on Thorzain's recent TvP is limited.
MC should beat WhiteRa, he's just flat out better. It's PvP though so who knows, a couple of build order wins can easily happen for either player. Very happy that has been played on the Korean server though since PvP really suffers from latency.
QXC is going to destroy Adelscott if he's done even the slightest bit of prep. He loves harass, and he's fantastic at doing it. On the other hand Adel's mechanics past mid game are weak and he really seems to struggle with multitasking, I fully expect QXC to drop the shit out of him and get a massive lead while Adel falls apart.
Kas vs Nada is the hardest match to call because of all the unknowns; how will the latency affect things (it's not exactly good from the Ukraine either), has Nada put in much practice recently, does either player know much about their opponents stylistic preferences etc etc. Kas is probably the best Terran in Europe right now and he's rock solid in everything he does, but if Nada has been practicing I do think he'll edge this.

thorzain, i think easily but we will see. white ra!!! hopfeully but will be hard. kas, despite <3 nada the ukraine star will take it, espcially since this is tvt adelscott, this is the closest match thought..but i like this style.

Gogo Tyler! We can't see every liquid player out of the liquid tournament in the Ro16!

omg the Adelscott cheerful made me laugh so hard. Can't wait for today's games, if MC vs White-Ra can't make PvP interesting I don't know what can.

I don't know. Seeing WhiteRa vs MC in the World vs Korea, WhiteRa definetely looked solid and made MC look shaky. Bar MC's lone Stalker awesomeness, he didn't look better than WhiteRa at any point in the match. I reckon MC will also have a hard time figuring out WhiteRa's Warp Prism style, as there are few players capable of fighting - and winning - with Warp Prisms.

I disagree again here. Adel's multitasking looks solid to me, too, which is to be expected with his mass gate style. I think the mass gate style is one that T players will have to spend time figuring out, as it is very different and doesn't have any obvious weaknesses. QXC's style normally works very well against either FE or fast Colossus because both of those are innately weak to harassment, but Adel's mass gate is the opposite. QXC might have to play a long macro game without harassment, and will find that quite tricky.

love the previews, it puts words on my thoughts, even though i think that Adel will win vs qxc, his style just favors him so much as qxc is the one who uses drops alot more and abuses immobility and gateway-units aren't immobile
|
Thorzains TvP is insane! Perhaps best in Europe. I think he will be able to beat Tyler 3-0 or 3-1
|
I think that Tyler will take it as long as he prepares. with prep, he will win rather convincingly but with out he will lose like 3-1
MC probably is going to take it vs whiteRa even though i really, really hope that he doesn't. this also comes down to preperations, if whiteRa is in his element and don't make any mistakes and have some builds prepared, i think he could very well take it, and i hope so, but if he makes some mistakes, MC will have a rather easy time.
qxc vs Adel - i'd say Adel is going to take it unless qxc have some prepared builds just for the style, something mech-oriented, because if Adel just has his multitasking a little bit going, his mobile gateway-army won't take any damage from qxc's harassment, the harassment is only good vs the immobile coloussous, etc.
and i'd say that nada will win if he goes for harasment and as goes for slow tank-pushing, but oterwise i'd give the win to kas

I just can't wait for Adel's games!
Allez la France!

Predictions: Thorzain > Tyler MC > White-Ra Adelscott > QXC Kas > Nada

So many protoss :O Well, Thorzain is more than capable of beating them off, and will be nice to see MC crushed again by the old man :D Also, qxc vs adel will be sick, both of them play a very interesting style.

I am so stoked for this. QXC fighting!
|
I'm looking forward for all the good Zergs fighting! sigh

Voting is pretty close on QXC-Adelscott despite the 3-1 prediction. I'm torn on who to cheer for. I guess I wont find out until the match.
Other then that. Go Tyler =D
