I wish there were more Zerg! And now I see I have to wait until the 16th and 17th for some Zerg fighting!!! I thought the MLG weekend was bad enough...
Three days of Day[9] this time instead of two, and the only non-Day[9] day is Chill + Husky. I'm not sure what others think about that, but I thought Chill and Husky actually worked really well together.
I'm so conflicted for the White-Ra vs MC game ><. Happy seeing either player advance~ Really excited to see Mondragon play again because of the unknown element and seeing his play style vs Zeerax was so cool.
Looks like another epic weekend of SC2 ahead of us. The Korean flag is in the qxc vs adelscott match because it's really a 1v1v1 vs a random Korean player.
On a slightly more serious note, I know RageQuit TV has what could be a killer preview of Naniwa vs Goody from the Black Dragon League about a week ago now. VODs should be here: http://da.justin.tv/ragequittv/b/282635343 Match starts at 19:50 and continues in part 2 due to internet issues.
MC v WhiteRa rematch? Yep, fair to say I'm looking forward to this one too.
Personally my dream outcome would be Tyler stomping, an awesome and close series between WhiteRa and MC, and then in the Ro8 Tyler brings the pain and shows us all why he's perfectly entitled to critique MCs play: by destroying him!
TLAF-Liquid`Tyler vs Prae.ThorZaIN Duckload.White-Ra vs oGs.MC
FXO.qxc vs Mill.Adelscott oGs.NaDa vs Empire.Kas
FnaticMSI.Sen vs SlayerS_BoxeR mouz.HasuObs vs mouz.MorroW
Dignitas.NaNiwa vs ESC.GoOdy MYM.Mondragon vs coL.CrunCher
If Nani loses this i will laugh so hard after his roflstomping at MLG he could easily make the finals.. Also white-ra vs mc rematch!!! Can he do it again? I personally dont think so haha!
Oh my, Whitera vs MC. I bet MC is eager for that regame after Whitera outplayed him quite handedly in the GSL WC :o
Nada vs Kas. Regardless of what Nada was in the past, Kas is currently THE beast. Just look at his medals! We'll see how much of a genius Nada is, facing an opponent like this.
Naniwa vs Goody The guy who owned face in dreamhack, beating everybody and only losing two maps in the finals against the invincible panzer general. This will be highly interesting. ^^
Cruncher vs Mondragon This seems more like a clash of personalities, looking forward to it. :-)
Tyler vs Thorzain should be pretty sick, for all those that saw the fruitdealer game, you should know that Thorzain has said TvP is "By far my best matchup".

Quoting for truth.
OT: Man I really hope qxc can pull a win here after this last MLG weekend. And an MC vs. White-Ra rematch should be quite awesome. So much hype! :D. Excited.
rgr, white-ra vs mc should be good (even though tasteless kinda spilled the beans), also interested to see how far naniwa and tyler can go. lot of good matches really, can't wait!
wowow Not a single match that I am not looking forward to. Cheers to another weekend with no time for homework! It seems i spend twice as much time watching starcraft as I do in class recently O_O
Can't wait to see Tyler stomp some face after not being shown any of his game at MLG.
Also looking forward to see if Adelescott can pull the cat out the bag and stomp, sorry QXC your one of my favourite American terrans but European Protoss Fighting
Tyler vs ThorZain - Does the swedish underdog have what it takes? White-Ra vs MC - Can the Ukranian mantoss do it again? Sen vs BoxeR - Can you even measure this kind of epicness? Mondragon vs CrunCher - Can Mondi do what IdrA could not? NaNiwa vs GoOdy - Will NaNiwa 3-0?

White-ra is at the moment in Korea so they will probably play on the Korean server. So your lag argument is invalid.

Im assuming they schedule looks like it largely depending on that a few participants is in Korea for GSL WC. So they play MC-WhiteRa first week while (i assume) WhiteRa still is in Korea and Morrow-Hasu 2nd week when Morrow is back in EU again. It would make sense to fix the scheduling like that at least, to minimize lag issues.

not sure about that. i heard he will just stay for 10 days. if he is still in korea, i doubt he has a chance vs. MC, but we will see

usually when it comes to pvp i would skip games doesnt matter who plays BUTDuckload.White-Ra vs
oGs.MC will be fucking awesome, after the world vs korea match what whitera showed there was just amazing, hope he comes up with more of this "spicial tactics"

Hope "Grandpa Toss" can demonstrate his anti-korean skillz again. Also, it would be interesting, if ThorZaIN will be able to play against Tyler as solid as he did against the FD.
And I'm really looking forward to NaDa v Kas (battle of styles) as well as for CrunCher v Mondgragon (battle of crazy))).

Actually the argument is valid. It's just not sound.
One of the most annoying thing in the world is people using "big" words incorrectly.

I love this so much. Logic for the win! But on topic, excited for Tyler's game, and a so much Day[9]. Plus, with NASL being in between these weekends, this'll be the sickest week of Starcraft.

User was warned for this post
Nothing has been played yet so there is 0 chance of spoilers having leaked. I will say however that to deal with possible spoilers we need to be consistent and punish any discussion about them. Whether they are true or not doesn't matter.
I am confident in spoilers not being possible for these matches due to the system we use (which I won't explain). However because there is always a chance things don't go as expected we are taking the stance that we will remove posts and warn/ban anyone who thinks it is a good idea to bring up spoilers. If nobody reads a spoiler nobody can be spoiled. So someone bringing it up whether it is true or not directly hurts the TSL by putting doubt into peoples minds. If we would only act against spoilers that are real we would be pretty damn obvious so we are going to adhere to a zero spoiler discussion policy regardless of what is being said.
After this, posts will be deleted and users will be banned.
WhiteRa vs MC rematch is probably going to be the sickest thing in the history of mankind! And I dont even like watching protoss vs any race.. >.< But that WC game .. Holy SHIET im HYPED for THIS!! DOWN DOWN DOWN

I would have to disagree..... I am not sure of the prize pools and sure mlg may have a bigger prize pool, but lans are limited by who can go, and sure there was some amazing players there but the TSL imo is really the best of the best through all of the preliminaries and such, not to mention all of the big drama games, tense moments, epic wild strategies, One could argue every game in the bracket has been worthy of watching the vod for it. And I think the overall production quality of TSL is a lot better, such as the sweet drawerings of the players. The only thing I don't like about TSL which GSL does, is announce the real players names under their gamer tags, which then it would make esports more reputable and for people to be able to put names to faces and to ingame names.
tldr, TSL better production quality imo, and simply the best of the best, although mlg had some great players it's limited by who can go.
edit, also a lot of these players/casters are from around the world, so you have to keep that in mind as well.
I'm hyped for another Mondragon session. Hope he does something crazy again and just rolls Cruncher.
Backup plan: Sen actually wins.
If not, there's again a no-Zerg-ro8 which blows. I don't wanna see another PvP finals (tho I gotta admit, Naniwa's streak in MLG was kinda insane to watch).

I place no significance on a best of 1, we will just have to wait and see what happens in this epic best of 5, smart bets on MC though its not like mc is gonna be tricked by warp prism shenanigans multiple times.
BTW i wanted an MC vs MVP finals =( its gonna be boring to see MKP get stomped my MVP again ><

Why do you think mkp will be stomped by mvp? As mc vs. mkp can show you, NOTHING is impossible.
Mondragon vs CrunCher could be insane... Cheers for White-Ra! Really looking forward for his incredible "beating MC technique". NaDa/Kas again? Hope Kas will get it this time
I'm really glad that White-Ra vs MC will apparently all be done on KR server. As micro intensive as PvP usually is, I don't want either player to be handicapped.

Obviously a lot can happen since the GSL 5 (i think) - the one that MVP won.. He beat MKP 4-0 or something crazy.. So if you base it on the last time they played on a big stage i think it is a justified statement
Here's to hoping it won't be so and there will be some crazy back n forth series
I wonder if Mondragon will build any unit other than roaches this weekend, lol! Either way, I hope Mondragon and LiquidTyler keep on rollin like its TSL 2
The only bad thing is that some really good players and some really creative players are going to get knocked out, so we won't get to see more of them. Best of luck to everyone in the Ro16!
leak or not, i think most people expect Mondragon to win haha.
Because people are still quoting me. I want to make clear that the results are not leaked at all!
I overreacted on a rumour and stated it as truth which was stupid and based on a emotion instead of common sense. the only way of knowing the results is tuning in this weekend!
I want Cruncher to win it all because his strats are just awesome if you read his interviews about how he breaks down and studies opponents. plus he's 1/2 Arab like me LOL.. I think he may be dark horse.

I don't think MVP will underestimate MKP solely because he just beat MC.
Honestly most interested in the Mondragon/Cruncher match. I'd like to see if a Zerg player who goes into the match without assuming his opponent is a terrible nobody fares better than Idra did.
