Personality should be irrelevant. This is a computer game tournament, not a dating show.
Am I really the only person that thought this was a stupid answer? It's an easy answer and ok if it was just supposed to be funny, but as real opinion it shows terrible insight in what makes anyone care about the results of said computer game tournament. Fans are 100% emotion-made, and personality is definitely somewhat of a factor in that big or small. It's ironic that this answer comes from someone whose personality has a bigger factor in making fans and haters than probably any other SC2-player in the world. I wouldn't call myself a fan of anyone, but I support idra because and only because of his playstyle. It wouldn't matter for me if he's a jerk or a very nice guy that brings everyone cookies at lan. So that makes your statement pretty void.
Actually since you "wouldn't call yourself a fan of anyone," it makes his statement correct . (just teasin)

Haha, IdrA on top form :D I'm glad he feels confident, I want zerg domination in this tournament
|
I hope Hapyro will show his full potential in the TSL.. Haypro fighting!
|
IdrA just says what he thinks. Although I don't think he's right to think of it as a walkover- 4 gate is pretty strong!
Cruncher has about 40apm. He has absolutely no chance past the 10 minute mark. We saw in the TL-Open all he has is well-executed rushes. Cruncher definitely can't win TSL3 BUT he could beat IdrA.

These interviews really make tsl so much better!

They should cheer for him because of his skill................. why would we care about personality when this is a computer competition?

Idra's answers make me sick. That interview is the most information I got from an interview from Haypro. Hes a movie guy. Haha

No, I don't like IdrA and thats why I cheer for Cruncher. And I don't like Idra because he is really bm and insulting other players which is unprofessional to me and really bad for e-sports. Image a tennis players refusing a hand shake and instead saying something like "You are a faggot". Really, I hope IdrA gets destroyed by Cruncher, gogogo Cruncher!

Calling another pro contracted player a "walk over" is an interesting choice of words. Hope you can back them up Greg. If you don't, you're going to look very foolish.

cruncher fighting! dominate after those words

Love idra, but i think cruncher will surprise him with a good game. gl

<3 Idra <3 I mean this answer!!!
Q: If you had to introduce yourself to our fans who never met you, how would you describe yourself? Write a few sentences about your personality.
Personality should be irrelevant. This is a computer game tournament, not a dating show.

While the interview was entertaining, now I've to suffer through all the obnoxious posts if cruncher gets lucky
|
"Personality should be irrelevant. This is a computer game tournament, not a dating show."
I can't help but read this line with a robot voice in my head.
It's also pretty ironic that Idra akward personnality is part of what made him so famous.
|
I really doesnt like Idra's interview this time, to not tell about personallity is a little isolationed and boring:/ It's fun to hear about every one , even tho I know must important stuff about idra from a fan perspective.
|
Loved haypro and idras answers.
|
Pretty sure if CrunCher beats IdrA with cheese, the greatest shit storm of all time will erupt for months to come.
|
I really do hope Idra crushes Cruncher, if only because after saying, "I'm approaching this match as though it will be a walkover," him losing would be painful to watch. Also, even though Toss is my main race, I love Idra.
My only concern is that I feel like Idra is at kind of a low spot professionally, mostly having to do with how disenfranchised he seems with the state of the game.
|
I can't wait for Idra to play. I love his personality.
