But Morrow didn't want to play him more since Incontrol is too good=/.

I like Incontrol a lot though, this interview made a lot more clear about Morrow, I'll be rooting for them both.

Also about him being on his "2 year in school", by that he means It's his second year at gymnasium (Which are the last three years of school in the swedish school system).

Altho I do think it’s weak of people who bm the ones who dodge them, and I think its weak to lie to your opponent make up fake excuses not to play, but I don’t think its weak to dodge somebody

IMHO, it is weak to dodge people. Why dodge people who are better than you, see yourself as inferior, ignore a good opportunity to learn from your mistakes, and put limits on yourself all at the same time?

Maybe because he knows he has problems in certain areas of gameplay, but doesn't want to learn from his mistakes in a ladder like this, and put limits on himself, when there's money on the line.

Morrow! Sen's zvp was comparable to modi's back in the day. He was among the best foreigners several years ago.

Terrific interivew, though. Thanks.

Dodging in a ladder stage where it matters what spot you place in doesn't really matter. What matters is how well you do in the playoff format.

lol, if your refering to the replay where he said "no re, your too good" or words to that effect, i'm preeety sure he was being sarcastic.

Really, it's just smart strategy. If anything, the format is to blame, as ladders allow a certain flexibility you don't see in a tournament (then again, they are damn fun to follow ).

The point of this ladder isn't to show superiority or learn from mistakes. It's to qualify into the TSL.

Under normal circumstances I would fully agree with you, but when you are laddering to get better positions in a cash tournament anything goes as long as it doesn't break a rule.

Really nice interview, I like the honesty about dodging, it's not an optimal situation for competition but it's the way it is currently.

SC2 with auto-matchmaking where you must play the opponent who you are given would be cool.

How's it funny? It seems perfectly logical to me. If you simply look down on his dodging, I think the dodging should be attributed to the way the TSL ladder rewards dodging.

Sen used to be the 2nd best foreigner Zerg next to Mondragon back in like 2004-2005, he just switched to protoss after a long SC break iirc.

Sen switched to protoss? He has a zerg icon on the ladder standings, and played almost all of his games as zerg during the ladder.

IMO this thread won't get the attention it deserves in the TSL section. I suggest moving it to the Broodwar section, as it talks about events outside of the TSL as well.

Yeah i am confused too, ive seen reps of him playing both races so idk which one is his main now.
Why would you ever choose failure, when success is an option.

Zerg is still Sen's main race, he played zvz,zvp and zvt at WCG. He switched to protoss sometime ago and then switched back to zerg, thus having a fairly decent off-race.

Ya I agree about the dodging thing. Sure it makes sense to play people tougher than you... but if you can maintain #2 by playing smart and selective... in such a big tourny? Ya... you gotta do it.

He can really drill on beating players better than him in 6 months. Now its time to see how many points he can get and how good he can make his record. I think it would be a waste NOT to do so.
